Եվրոպական միությունը հորդորում է խիստ հավատարիմ մնալ Մոսկվայում Հայաստանի, Ռուսաստանի և Ադրբեջանի արտգործնախարարների հանդիպման ընթացքում հումանիտար նպատակներով ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունը կրակի դադարեցման վերաբերյալ: Այս մասին ասված է Արտաքին գործողության եվրոպական ծառայության պաշտոնական կայքում հրապարակված ԵՄ բարձր ներկայացուցչի հայտարարության մեջ:

«Եվրոպական միությունը ողջունում է Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև հումանիտար զինադադարի վերաբերյալ ս.թ. հոկտեմբերի 10-ին ձեռք բերված համաձայնությունը: ԵՄ-ն կողմերին հորդորում է խիստ հավատարիմ մնալ ձեռք բերված համաձայնությանը և կոչ անում բոլոր դերակատարներին, այդ թվում՝ արտաքին կողմերին ձեռնպահ մնալ բոլոր գործողություններից, որոնք կարող են հանգեցնել ավելի մեծ զոհերի: Այս առումով, մենք ծայրաստիճան անհանգստությամբ ստանում ենք հաղորդումներ շարունակվող ռազմական գործողությունների, այդ թվում ՝ ուղղված քաղաքացիական թիրախների դեմ, ինչպես նաև քաղաքացիական բնակչության շրջանում կորուստների մասին և կողմերին հորդորում ապահովել համաձայնության նկատմամբ լիակատար հարգանք՝ տեղական մակարդակում: ԵՄ-ն կողմերին կոչ է անում առանց հապաղելու վերադառնալ բովանդակային բանակցությունների դաշտ՝ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների հովանու ներքո, առանց նախապայմանների և համաձայնեցված սկզբունքների հիման վրա»,- ասված է հայտարարությունում:

ԵՄ-ն շարունակում է աջակցել ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների աշխատանքին`հակամարտությանը բանակցությունների միջոցով քաղաքական լուծում գտնելու հարցում և կշարունակի ջանքեր գործադրել տարածաշրջանում կայուն խաղաղություն հաստատելու ուղղությամբ:
