«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է.

Պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար, նախկին վարչապետ Վազգեն Մանուկյանը երեկ հանդես եկավ աղմկահարույց հայտարարությամբ՝ ՀՀ կառավարությանը կոչ անելով հրաժարական տալ։ Նա կարծում է, որ ստեղծված իրավիճակում դա է մեր փրկության միակ բանալին․ «Այս կառավարությունը պետք է հրաժարական տա՝ բանակին հանձնելով ողջ իշխանությունը, ընդ որում՝ դա պետք է անի կամավոր, առանց ցնցումների, որոնք կարող են կործանարար լինել»։

Դրանից հետո, նրա առաջարկով, բանակը, իր ձեռքը վերցնելով ողջ իշխանությունը, պետք է կազմի միասնական Պաշտպանության կոմիտե՝ Արցախի հետ միասին՝ կազմակերպելով պատերազմական ներկա իրավիճակին անհրաժեշտ միջոցառումները, ապահովելով վստահություն եւ գնալով բանակցությունների՝ շահագրգիռ պետությունների, միջազգային կառույցների հետ։

«Իմ քայլի» պատգամավոր Հովիկ Աղազարյանն այս պահին վարչապետի հրաժարականի համար հիմքեր եւ նախադրյալներ չի տեսնում, ավելին՝ ինքը որեւէ տարաձայնություն չի տեսնում քաղաքական եւ ռազմական իշխանությունների միջեւ․ «Երբ ռազմական իշխանություններն ազդակ կտան, որ վարչապետի հայտարարությունները՝ նույն փոխզիջման մասով, անընդունելի են, քաղաքական իշխանությունը կկողմնորոշվի ինչ անել»։ Իսկ ի՞նչ նկատի ուներ Փաշինյանը՝ «ցավոտ փոխզիջում» ասելով՝ հետաքրքրվեցինք Աղազարյանից։ Նա չգիտի, ինքը «ցավոտ փոխզիջում» ասելով՝ պատկերացնում է որոշ տարածքի զիջում՝ կարգավիճակի դիմաց։
