Ագրեսիվ ադրբեջանցիները զանգվածային հալածանքներ և արյունալի վրեժխնդրություն են իրականացնում Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում։ Մինչդեռ մեծ տերությունները նվազագույն քայլեր են ձեռնարկում վատագույնը կանխելու համար, գրում է շվեյցարական Neue Zürcher Zeitung պարբերականի լրագրող Անդրեաս Ռյուշը։

Խոսելով Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում ռուս խաղաղապահների տեղակայման շուրջ պայմանավորվածություն ձեռք բերելու և տարածքային զիջումների մասին՝ հոդվածագիրը նշում է, որ «Շուշիի անկումը հանգեցրել է նման դրամատիկ շրջադարձի»։

Լրագրողի խոսքով՝ «Ադրբեջանը փորձում էր իր ագրեսիան արդարացնել նրանով, որ իբր միայն վերադարձնում է այն, ինչ ժամանակին եղել է Ադրբեջանական ԽՍՀ-ի՝ միջազգային իրավունքով ճանաչված մասը։ Սակայն Բաքվի նկրտումները Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի տարածքի նկատմամբ, որն ավանդաբար բնակեցված է եղել մեծամասամբ հայերով, չափազանց վիճելի է։ Բացի այդ, ցինիկորեն օգտագործում էր միջազգային իրավունքը որպես փաստարկ, միաժամանակ խախտելով հրադադարի մասին համաձայնագիրը, գնդակոծելով բնակելի շրջանները և կիրառելով արգելված զենք»։
