Այն օրվանից, ինչ Հայաստանում կան դրամաշնորհներով աշխատողներ, կան նաև «գրանտակերություն» կոչվող երևույթից գժգոհողներ, դրա դեմ պայքարողներ: Սակայն նախկինում դա ավելի հեշտ էր, քանի գրանտները հիմնականում գալիս էին մի կողմից՝ արևմտյան հիմնադրամներից, տրվում էին հիմնականում հ/կ-ներին: Ժամանակի ընթացքում դա, իհարկե, ընդլայնվեց, գրանտներով սկսեցին սնվել նաև ակտիվիստներ, տարբեր նախաձեռնություններ, կառույցներ, նույնիսկ՝ կուսակցություններ: Շատացան նաև «գրանտ» ստանալու աղբյուրները: Պարզապես նոր աղբյուրները արդեն բառացիորեն «գրանտ» չեն կոչվում, այլ հիմնավորվում են այլ կերպ, սակայն էությունը գրեթե նույնն է՝ տվյալ կառույցը ֆինանսավորվում է կոնկրետ գործունեություն իրականացնելու համար:
Եվ ահա, այսպիսի «նորարարությունների» հետ մեկտեղ Սորոսի և այլ հիմնադրամներին Հայաստանում սկսեցին լուրջ մրցակիցներ դառնալ տեղական օլիգարխները, մասնավորապես՝ մեկը: Իսկ այդ մեկը, ավելի շուտ՝ նրա ունեցվածքը, բավականին գայթակղիչ էր: Եվ չդիմանալով այդ գայթակղությանը՝ ակտիվացան գրպանային կուսակցություններն ու մի քանի ձայն հավաքող գործիչները, նախկինում ատամի պրոթեզներ բաժանողները: Ի դեպ, սա ավելի վաղ սկսված գործընթաց էր, օրինակ ժամանակին Վարդան Օսկանյանը Ծառուկյանին համարեց ավելի հուսալի ֆինանսավորման աղբյուր, քան «Սիվիլիթաս» և նման հիմնադրամները: Ավելի ուշ այլ կառույցներ էլ ստեղծվեցին, նույնիսկ Երկրապահի «այլընտարք», որոնք իրենց միջոցառումը «Փարավոն» ռեստորանային համալիրում են անում, զուգահեռաբար՝ երևան եկան նոր հ/կ-ներ, նոր նախաձեռնություններ: Եվ այս բոլոր՝ միմյանցից տարբեր գաղափարախոսություն և ուղղվածություն ունեցող կամ ընդհանրապես չունեցող անհատներին և կառույցներին միավորում է մեկ ընդհանուր գաղափար՝ գործունեության համար ակնկալվող ֆինանսական միջոցները, այսինքն՝ «այլընտրանքային գրանտը»: Եվ այս գործընթացը չի դադարում, հնարավորությունից ուզում են օգտվել շատերը, ոչ մեկը մյուսից հետ մնալ չի ուզում:
Օրինակ, վերջերս ևս մեկ նոր՝ «Հայաստան» անունով քաղաքական շարժում՝ Աշոտ Մանուչարյանի ղեկավարությամբ, հայտարարեց իր գործունեության մեկնարկի մասին: Ընդ որում, հայտարարությունից պարզ էր, որ շարժումը ընդգծված հակաարևմտյան է, հետևաբար ենթադրելի է, որ կարող է պաշտպանել Հայաստանի՝ ԵՏՄ-ին անդամակցության գաղափարը: Իսկ վերոհիշյալ նույն օլիգարխն էլ օրերս հստակ կերպով ասել է, որ ԲՀԿ-ն կողմ է Հայաստանի՝ ԵՏՄ-ին անդամակցությանը: Այսինքն, ևս մեկ նորաստեղծ կառույց տրամաբանորեն կարող է դառնալ Ծառուկյանի միջոցներից ֆինանսավորվող միավոր և միավորվել նրա շուրջ: Պարզապես հարց է առաջանում, թե ինչպես պետք է Մանուչարյանը նույն հարթակում կանգնի Լևոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանի հետ, որի հետ իր տարաձայնությունները և, մեղմ ասած՝ ոչ բարիդրացիական հարաբերությունները երկար տարիների պատմություն ունեն: Սա, իհարկե, զուտ ենթադրություն է, բայց եթե լինի էլ, չեմ զարմանա, որովհետև «գրանտը» հզոր գործոն է և այդ պարագայում սպասելի է ցանկացած զարգացում:
Ինչևէ, այս ամենի արդյունքում դժվարացել է «գրանտ ստացողներ» որոնողների գործը: Եթե նախկինում մարդիկ հետևում էին, թե ակտիվիստներից համ հասարակական գործիչներից ով է դուրս գալիս ԱՄՆ դեսպանատնից, որպեսզի համապատասխան հետևություններ անեին, ապա այսօր արդեն պետք է ընթացքը դանդաղեցնեն և ավելի ուշադիր լինեն նաև «Կանյաչնիի» և «Փարավոնի» մոտով անցնելիս:
