«25 տարեկան դարձա այսօր։

Ամենադժվար ծննդյան օրն էր, որ երբևէ ունեցել եմ։

Դեռ հոկտեմբերի սկզբներին, երբ Նախիջևանյան թևն էինք պաշտպանում ներքուստ գրեթե համոզված էի, որ այսպիսի ելքը անխուսափելի է։

Խնդիրներ, որ առկա են միջին օղակի սպայակազմի մոտ այդ օրերին դարձել էին ավելի վտանգավոր, քան ադրբեջանն իր վարձկաններով ու ահաբեկիչներով։

Դժվար է գնալ մարտի երբ կողքիդ են վախկոտ, անպատրաստ, անտեղյակ ու շոպլիկությունը հարգող սպաներ, անհնար է հաղթել մարտում, երբ կողքիդ ռազմական ոստիկանության կողմից շանտաժով եկածներ են։

Դժվար է հասկանալ ինչից է, որ չունենք մոբիլիզացված զորքերի թվով բռոնիկներ, կասկաներ, ինչու ամեն պոստ չունի իր հեռադիտակը, գիշերային տեսանելիության սարքը ու կողմնորոշման քարտեզը։

Էս ամենը աննկարագրելի ցավոտ է ու վրդովվեցնող։

Չեմ հասկանում այն պայմանագրայիններին, ովքեր 10 տարի առանց պոստերը լուրջ պահելու գումար են ստացել պետությունից ու այդ օրերին կանայք փակել են փողոցները որ իրենց չտանեն Արցախ։

Դժվար եմ հասկանում այն փոխգնդապետներին ում ինչ հարց ուզում ես տուր պատասխանն է չգիտեմ։

Մենք պարտվել ենք և պետք է ընդունել դա անվերապահորեն ու բոլորս ենք պարտվել։ Բայց մենք նաև փրկվել ենք ու դա էլ է փաստ։

Կոչս, հորդորս ու պահանջս բոլորից։ Պետք է սրտացավությամբ գտնենք մեր սխալները, հասկանանք մեր մեջ առկա կեղտի չափը, սիրենք մեր հայրենիքը ու էդ կեղտի մեջ կառուցենք նորը։

Պետք է նորովի դաստիարակվեն մեր սերունդները, պետք է իմանան Տիգրան Մեծին, բայց չապրեն նրանով, հիշեն Վարդան Մամիկոնյանին, բայց չմնան էդ թվերի մեջ։

Մենք բոլորս պարտավոր ենք փոխվել, պարտավոր ենք ընդունել ճշմարտությունը, պարտավոր ենք համեստորեն կայանալ, պարտավոր ենք հզորանալ հանուն մեր երեխաների։

Մեր պարտության թիվ մեկ պատճառը մեզ սին արժեքներով դաստիարակած պետությունն ու հասարակությունն է։
