Այսօր համազգային սգո օր է։ Մեր եռագույնն իջեցված է, մեր հոգին` նվաղած, տխրությունն ու ցավը` մեր ժողովրդի սրտում, որովհետեւ տղերքը չկան։ Իսկական ու ազգի նվիրյալ տղերքը, որոնք հավերժացան, որ հայրենիքը կանգուն մնա։ Վշտակցում եմ այս անողոք պատերազմում հերոսաբար զոհված մեր տղաների ընտանիքներին, հարազատներին, բարեկամներին ու ընկերներին:
Սիրելի՛ որդեկորույս հայրեր ու մայրեր, այս պատերազմից հետո գուցե սերունդները խոսեն պարտությունից, բայց Դուք միշտ հիշե՛ք` Ձեր որդիները չեն պարտվել, մենք` գուցե, բայց նրանք` երբե՛ք։ Մեր բանակը չի պարտվել, մեր զինվորը չի փախչել։ Մեր հաղթանակի օրը դեռ պիտի գա։
Եւս մեկ անգամ իմ խոնարհումն եմ հայտնում Ձեր որդիների առջև ու քանիցս կրկնում՝ քրիստոնյա արժեքներով ապրող հայ լինելը հպարտություն է, իսկ այդ հայը պարտվել չգիտի։

Сегодня день национального траура. Наш флаг спущен, наша душа утомлена, печаль и боль в сердце нашего народа-рядом с нами нет больше наших братьев! Настоящие и преданные народу воины были увековечены, чтобы наша Родина устояла. Мои глубокие соболезнования семьям, друзьям и близким наших братьев,героически погибших в этой беспощадной войне.
Дорогие отцы и матери, потерявшие сыновей, после этой войны может поколения будут говорить о поражении, но вы всегда должны помнить,что ваши сыновья не проиграли, мы может и да, но они никогда! Наша армия не потерпела поражение, наш солдат не оставлял поле битвы. День нашей победы еще впереди!
Еще раз преклоняюсь перед вашими сыновьями и повторяю: быть армянином, живущим христианскими ценностями - это гордость. Армянин не умеет проигрывать!
Будьте сильными!Вы не одни!
