Tesla-ի և SpaceX-ի գործադիր տնօրեն Իլոն Մասկը դարձել են աշխարհի ամենահարուստ մարդը`գերազանցելով Amazon-ի գործադիր տնօրեն Ջեֆֆ Բեզոսին, հայտնում են CNBC-ն և Bloomberg-ը: Աճուրդներում Tesla-ի բաժնետոմսերի գնի բարձրացման արդյունքում՝ Մասկի կարողությունն աճել է մինչև 185 միլիարդ դոլար, Բեզոսինը՝ 184 միլիարդ դոլար: Bloomberg-ը Մասկի ակտիվների ընդհանուր արժեքը գնահատում է 188,5 միլիարդ դոլար, իսկ Բեզոսինը՝ 187 միլիարդ դոլար: Գործակալության կողմից կազմված աշխարհի ամենահարուստ մարդկանց վարկանշային ցուցակը ամեն օր թարմացվում է՝ հիմնվելով ԱՄՆ-ում ֆոնդային բորսաների արդյունքների վրա:  Մասկը, մեկնաբանելով հրապարակումն այն մասին, որ ինքը դարձել է աշխարհի ամենահարուստ մարդը, Թվիթերի իր էջում գրել է. «Ինչ տարօրինակ է: Դե ինչ, վերադառնանք գործին»։

Մասկի կարողության մեծացման հիմնական պատճառը Tesla-ի կապիտալիզացիայի աճն է: 2020 թվականի հունվարին այն կազմում էր 100 միլիարդ դոլարից պակաս, իսկ այժմ գնահատվում է մոտ 760 միլիարդ դոլար: Tesla-ն հիմնադրել է Մասկը՝ 2003 թվականին: Սկզբում ընկերությունը մասնագիտանում էր էլեկտրական տրանսպորտային միջոցների արտադրության մեջ, բայց հետագայում սկսեց զարգացնել նաև էներգիայի պահպանման համակարգեր:
