«Դասական մոդելում նախընտրական քարոզչության ընթացքում քաղաքական գործիչները ներկայացնում են ապագայի վերաբերյալ ծրագրեր և, եթե կարողանում են համոզել ընտրողներին, վստահության քվե են ստանում։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, սակայն, ընտրություններին մասնակցելու դեպքում պետք է ներկայացնի ոչ թե ապագայի ծրագրեր, այլ ամենամոտ անցյալի վերաբերյալ հաշվետվություն։ Նա պետք է պատասխանի բազմաթիվ հարցերի՝ ինչպե՞ս հանձնվեց Շուշին, ինչո՞ւ դադարեցվեց բանակի համալրումը, ինչո՞ւ չընդունվեցին պատերազմն ավելի վաղ դադարեցնելու առաջարկները, և այլն։

Որքան ավելի վաղ տեղի ունենան ընտրությունները, այնքան հարցերն ավելի տաք ու շատ են լինելու։ Այդ պատճառով Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը ցանկանում է ընտրություններն անցկացնել այնպիսի միջավայրում, որում պատերազմի մասին հարցադրումները գոնե պակաս արդիական կլինեն, և ինքը կկարողանա խոսել ապագայի մասին։ Հենց այդ նպատակով այսօր հետևողականորեն կատարվում է հայ հասարակության հոգեբանության, էլեկտորալ միջավայրի ադրբեջանացում։ Մարդկանց գիտակցության մեջ ներմուծվում են պատերազմում պարտության «արդարացիության», Ադրբեջանին հանձնված հողերի «ադրբեջանական պատկանելության» մասին թեզեր։ Ամեն ինչ արվում է հասարակությանը պարտության հետ հաշտեցնելու ու Ադրբեջանի հաղթանակը լեգիտիմացնելու համար, որպեսզի մարդիկ իրենց ապագան պատկերացնեն արդեն այդ՝ ադրբեջանական իրականության տիրույթում։

Եթե դա տեղի ունենա, ապա ժամանակ անց ընտրությունների անցկացման դեպքում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հնարավորություն կստանա խոսել արդեն ադրբեջանաթուրքական իրականության ապագայի մասին՝ խուսափելով պատերազմում կրած պարտության մասին հաշվետվությունից։ Վերջնարդյունքում ուղիղ չի ասվելու, բայց ենթատեքստով հասկացվելու է, որ պատերազմը ոչ թե չարիք էր, այլ բարիք, որովհետև դա հնարավորություն տվեց ապաշրջափակել ճանապարհները, ինչն էլ իր հերթին՝ հիմքեր է ստեղծում «ավելի լավ ապրելու» համար։

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը փորձելու է կրած պարտությունը քաղաքացիներին վաճառել՝ որպես լավ կյանքի գրավական, և կա վտանգ, որ հաջողելու է։ Ուստի նրա հայտարարությունները՝ Շուշիի «ադրբեջանական» լինելու մասին, պետք է դիտարկել ոչ միայն ու գուցե ոչ այնքան՝ դավաճանական, որքան՝ հենց ապագա նախընտրական տրամաբանության ներքո։

Նրա համար իշխանությունն ամենայնից վեր է, և այն պահպանելու համար պատրաստ է անգամ սեփական ազգանունն ադրբեջանական դարձնել, հատկապես որ, Փաշինյանից՝ Փաշաև ընդամենը կես քայլ է։ Գլոբալ առումով հենց այս պատճառով է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը փորձում հնարավորինս հետաձգել արտահերթ ընտրությունների անցկացումը, որպեսզի ժամանակի հետ ու իշխանական քարոզչության արդյունքում հայ հասարակությունը սկսի գորովանքով վերաբերվել պատերազմում կրած պարտությանը, ուրախությամբ ընդունել Արցախի՝ «ադրբեջանական պատկանելությունը» և Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին վստահության քվե տալ «ադրբեջանահայաստանի» շենացման համար»,-գրում է թերթը:
