ՀՅԴ ԳՄ ներկայացուցիչ, «Հայրենիքի փրկության շարժման» համակարգող Իշխան Սաղաթելյանը շարունակում է պնդել, որ շարժումը արտահերթ ընտրություններին մասնակցել կամ չմասնակցելու հարց չի քննարկում, այլ վերահաստատում են նախկինում հնչեցրած ճանապարհային քարտեզը, որտեղ հստակ ասվում է, որ արտահերթ ընտրություններ թեև անհրաժեշտ են, բայց այն չեն կարող լինել գործող վարչապետի գլխավորությամբ: Սաղաթելյանի խոսքով՝ ընդդիմության գործողություններում որևէ հակասություն չկա և կուսակցություններից յուրաքանչյուրն ազատ է որոշելու, որ եթե ընտրություններն, այնուամենայնիվ, այս իշխանությունները կազմակերպեն, ապա այդ դեպքում մասնակցելո՞ւ են արտահերթին, թե՞ ոչ: Ուշագավ է, որ ներկա փուլում ՀՅԴ-ն դեռ այդ հարցը չի քննարկում, հավանաբար հույսը չկորցնելով, որ ամեն դեպքում հնարավոր կլինի նախ Փաշինյանին հեռացնել իշխանություն, հետո մտածել ընտրությունների մասին: Զարգացումները, սակայն ցույց են տալիս, որ թեև շարժումը վաղուց սպառել է իր օրակարգը, բայց և փորձում է ցույց տալ, թե շարունակում է Փաշինյանի հրաժարականի ֆոնը պահպանել: Սա նշանակում է, որ սկսել են դանդաղ նահանջել սեփական դիրքերից, իսկ թե դրանից հետո ինչ օրակարգով կսկսեն հասարակությանը հանրահավաքների հրավիրել, ցույց կտա ժամանակը: Այնուամենայնիվ արձանագրենք, որ ՀՅԴ-ն նոր չէ, որ ինքն իրեն սպառել է, ինչը բոլորի համար էլ պարզ է: Պարզ չէ մեկ բան, ինչպիսին կլինի հայրենիքի փրկության ճակատագիրը և թե ով կդառնա 17-ի լոկոմոտիվը:
