Первый случай инфицирования человека вирусом птичьего гриппа выявили в России, сообщила в субботу глава Роспотребнадзора Анна Попова, сообщает «Интерфакс».

«Сегодня я хочу сообщить о важном научном открытии, которое сделали ученые научного центра «Вектор» Роспотребнадзора РФ: лабораторно подтвержден первый случай инфицирования человека вирусом гриппа А, гриппа птиц AH5N8», - сказала Попова в ходе брифинга на телеканале «Россия-24» (ВГТРК).

Попова пояснила, что вирус выявлен у семерых сотрудников птицефабрики на юге России, где в декабре 2020 года среди поголовья птиц зарегистрировали вспышку гриппа птиц.
