Հայաստանը սահման ունի միայն Վրաստանի հետ։ Փաստացի այս մասին է հայտարարել Հայաստանի պաշտպանության նախարար Վաղարշակ Հարությունյանը, ով ՌԻԱ Նովոստիի հետ հարցազրույցի ժամանակ ասել է, որ այսուհետ Ադրբեջանի հետ Հայաստանի սահմանը կպաշտպանեն ՌԴ ԱԴԾ սահմանապահ զորքերը։ Ռուս սահմանապահները արդեն կանգնած են Թուրքիայի և Իրանի հետ Հայաստանի սահմաններին, ինչպես նաև ինչ որ մեկից պաշտպանում են Երևանի Զվարթնոց օդանավակայանը։

Այսպիսով, Հայաստանը ունի միայն մեկ ինքնիշխան սահման։ Փետրվարի 22-ին Հայաստանում փաստացի տեղի ունեցավ հեղաշրջում․ պաշտպանության նախարարը հայտարարում է երկրի անվտանգության համակարգի արմատական փոփոխության մասին, որն իրականացվել է առանց խորհրդարանի, նախագահի և նույնիսկ վարչապետի  որոշման, իսկ անվտանգության խորհրդարանական հանձնաժողովի նախագահը պետության անունից հայտարարում է, թե կկրակի նրանց վրա, ով կփորձի խանգարել, հավանաբար, հեղաշրջմանը։

Երեկ Իրանի դեսպանը այցելել է ՊՆ Վաղարշակ Հարությունյանին, ըստ երևույթին պարզելու, թե ինչ է փոխվել և ում հետ պետք է բանակացություններ վարել։ Հայաստանի անիշխանությունը խնդիրներ է ստեղծում Իրանի համար, և Թեհրանը, որ պատերազմի ժամանակ հայտարարել էր, թե թույլ չի տա աշխարհքաղաքական սահմանների փոփոխություն տարածաշրջանում, այսօր չի հասկանում, թե ինչպես արձագանքել Հայաստանի հարավային սահմանների հանձնմանը։ Չի բացառվում, որ Ռուսաստանը Սյունիքում կտեղակայի ռուս-թուրքական մոնիտորինգի կենտրոն, որը «կպաշտպանի միջանցքը»։  Չնայած Վաղարշակ Հարությունյանը կոչ է արել դա միջանցք չանվանել, սակայն ասել է, որ «Ադրբեջանի և Նախիջևանի միջև կապը կապահովվի ռուսական ուժերի կողմից»։ Դա հակասում է Հայաստանի ԱԳ նախարարության հայտարարությանն առ այն, որ Հայաստանի տարածքով անցնող ցանկացած ճանապարհ պետք է գտնվի Հայաստանի իրավազորության ներքո։

Փետրվարի 8-ին Վաղարշակ Հարությունյանին այցելել էր Վրաստանի դեսպանը, ով, հավանաբար, հետաքրքրվել է, թե արդյոք Հայաստանը պատրաստվում է Ռուսաստանին հանձնել նաև Հայաստան – Վրաստան սահմանի վերահսկողությունը։ Արդյոք Վրաստանն իր պայմաններն է առաջադրել, և արդյոք Հայաստանը ուներ այդպիսի մտադրություններ։

Այնուամենայնիվ, Վրաստանի նոր վարչապետ Իրակլի Գարիբաշվիլին առաջին հերթին կմեկնի Ադրբեջան, որտեղ «հարգված և իմաստուն» Իլհամ Ալիևի հետ կքննարկեն  սահմանագծի որոշման և Դավիթ Գարեջի վանական համալիրի հարցերը։

Իսկ Վրաստանի ԱԳ նախարար Դավիթ Զալկալիանին կոչ է արել տարածաշրջանի երկրներին միանալ 3+3 և 3+2 հարթակին։ Նրա խոսքով, Վրաստանը պատրաստ է քննարկել այդ հարցը Ադրբեջանի և Թուրքիայի ԱԳ նախարարների հետ մոտ ապագայում։ Հայաստանի մասին նույնիսկ խոսք չկա, կարծես Հայաստանը այլևս գոյություն չունի։ 6-ի պլատֆորմը Հայաստանի սուբյեկտության չեզոքացման արձանագրումն է ռուս-թուրքական համաձայնություններով, այդ թվում՝ ՀՀ սահմանների մասով։

Այս իրադարձությունների ֆոնին, հետաքրքիր է հայկական օդանավի առեւանգման վերաբերյալ տեղեկությունը։ Քաղավիացիայի կոմիտեն հայտարարել է, որ պարզում են հանգամանքները։
