Բոլոր ռազմագերիների շուտափույթ և անվտանգ վերադարձն առաջնահերթություն է, ու այդ հարցում մենք բարձր ենք գնահատում Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության՝ որպես պատասխանատու և անկողմնակալ միջնորդի ջանքերը։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է ՀՀ արտգործնախարար Արա Այվազյանը ՌԻԱ Նովոստիին տված հարցազրույցում՝ պատասխանելով հարցին, թե ինչ  աշխատանքներ են տարվում ռուս խաղաղապահների, Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեի և Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունների հետ անհետ կորածների որոնման և զոհվածների մարմինների փոխանցման ուղղությամբ:

«Ռազմագերիների, պատանդների և այլ պահվող անձանց փոխանակումը նախատեսված է 2020 թվականի նոյեմբերի 9-ի եռակողմ հայտարարությամբ: Այս ուղղությամբ ազգային մակարդակով համակարգված միջգերատեսչական աշխատանք է տարվում: Հայաստանը կատարել է ռազմագերիներին «բոլորը բոլորի դիմաց» սկզբունքով հանձնելու իր պարտավորությունները։ Ի հեճուկս դրան՝ Ադրբեջանն արհեստական և անհիմն խոչընդոտներ է ստեղծում հայ ռազմագերիների և պահվող քաղաքացիական անձանց անհապաղ հայրենադարձման ուղղությամբ։ Ադրբեջանական կողմը մանիպուլյացիայի է ենթարկում հայ գերիների ցուցակը և հրաժարվում է ընդունել հայ զինծառայողների և քաղաքացիական անձանց գերության մեջ պահելու փաստը: Ավելին, պաշտոնական Բաքուն որոշ ռազմագերիների դեմ կեղծ մեղադրանքներով քրեական գործեր է հարուցում»,-նշել է Արա Այվազյանը։ 

Նա նշել է, որ Ադրբեջանի նմանօրինակ վարքագիծը ոչ միայն հակասում է միջազգային մարդասիրական իրավունքի նորմերին, այլև հանդիսանում է եռակողմ հայտարարության դրույթների ուղղակի խախտում՝ դրանով իսկ հարցականի տակ դնելով վերջինիս դրույթների իրականացումը։

«Բոլոր ռազմագերիների շուտափույթ և անվտանգ վերադարձն առաջնահերթություն է։  Այս հարցում մենք բարձր ենք գնահատում Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության՝ որպես պատասխանատու և անկողմնակալ միջնորդի ջանքերը ռազմագերիներին վերադարձնելու մասին պայմանավորվածության լիարժեք կատարման հարցում»,-շեշտել է նախարարը:

Այվազյանի խոսքով՝ համատեղ ջանքերի շնորհիվ հնարավոր եղավ հայ գերիների մի մասի վերադարձը հայրենիք, ու այդ մարդասիրական հարցի լուծման հետագա ձգձգումը ոչ միայն խորացնում է հայ հասարակության ցավը, այլև միևնույն ժամանակ ուղղակի մարտահրավեր է ինչպես Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությանը՝ որպես նոյեմբերի 9-ի եռակողմ հայտարարության կատարման երաշխավորի, այնպես էլ՝ ընդհանուր առմամբ միջազգային հանրությանը։
