«Ցանկացած ընտրություն, բացի գաղափարների ու խոստումների պայքարից, ինչ-որ իմաստով՝ նաև ժամանակային չափումների մրցություն է։ Ընտրություններին մասնակցող ուժերը նախ գնահատում են անցյալը, ախտորոշում են ներկան և ներկայացնում են ապագայի վերաբերյալ ծրագրերը։

Այսինքն՝ խաչվում են ժամանակային երեք հանգրվաններ՝ անցյալ, ներկա և ապագա։ Այս մոտեցումը տեղին է հատկապես իշխող ուժի պարագայում, որը, բացի ապագայի մասին գեղեցիկ խոստումներից, ունի նաև անցյալի ու ներկայի համար հասցեական պատասխանատվություն։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի ու նրա իշխանության դեպքում անցյալն ու ներկան արցախյան վերջին պատերազմում կրած խայտառակ պարտությունն է, կապիտուլյացիան, հետպատերազմական չսպիացող վերքերն ու չհաղթահարված արհավիրքը։

Գուցե նաև արդեն իսկ քանդված ասֆալտը և արդեն իսկ կերած բանակային ելակները։ Ահա այս պատկերի՝ ոչ հեռավոր անցյալի ու դրա հետևանք ներկայի համար Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ու նրա թիմն ունեն խիստ որոշակի, հասցեական, անվանական պատասխանատվություն։ Ընտրություններն այդ պատասխանատվության առնվազն քաղաքական բաղադրիչի իրացման միջոց պետք է դառնան։ Որևէ առողջ հասարակությունում անցյալի նման բեռ ունեցող որևէ իշխանություն չի կարող վստահության քվե ստանալ, որովհետև այդ քվեն նշանակելու է տեղի ունեցած ողբերգության լեգիտիմացում, ինդուլգենցիա, որ այդ իշխանությունը կարող է աղետի պատճառ դառնալ և որևէ պատասխանատվություն չկրել դրա համար։ Հետևաբար՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին ու նրա թիմին տրված ցանկացած ձայն դառնալու է ոչ միայն ընտրական արդյունքի, այլև մեր հասարակության ախտորոշման արձանագրման ցուցանիշ։

Առաջիկա ընտրություններում հասարակությունը մանիպուլյացվելու է առավել, քան երբևէ։ Մանիպուլյացիայի հիմքում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը դնելու է ժամանակային չափումների՝ նախկինի, ներկայի ու ապագայի դեֆորմացիան։ Նա հասարակությանը հիշեցնելու է համեմատաբար հեռավոր անցյալը՝ նախահեղափոխական ժամանակաշրջանը, «նախկիններին», «թալանը», «կոռուպցիան»՝ դրանով փորձելով մոռացության մատնել ոչ վաղ անցյալը՝ պատերազմի արհավիրքը և երկիրը կործանման հասցրած իր գործունեությունը։

Խեղաթյուրելով անցյալի այդ չափումները՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը խոստանալու է պայծառ ապագա՝ որպես դրա նախադրյալ ներկայացնելով հեռավոր անցյալի դեմ պայքարի անհրաժեշտությունը։

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի ողջ քարոզչությունը կառուցված է լինելու «միայն թե նախկինները չվերադառնան» սկզբունքով, և մեծ է վտանգը, որ հասարակությունը կուլ է տալու այդ խայծը։ Հանրային գիտակցությունը մանիպուլյացվել ու կառավարելի է դարձել այնպես ու այնքան, որ անցյալի հիշողությունը գերակա է ներկայի նկատմամբ, մարդիկ կույր են ամիսներ առաջ տեղի ունեցած ու շարունակվող աղետի հարցում, բայց նախանձախնդիր են հեռավոր անցյալի, դրա հնարավոր վերադարձը թույլ չտալու պարագային։

Անցյալը Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի համար և՛ մարտահրավեր է, և՛ հնարավորություն։ Նա փորձելու է համեմատաբար հեռավոր անցյալի հիշողության բորբոքմամբ ջնջել ամիսների վաղեմություն ունեցող անցյալի ողբերգականությունը։

Հասարակության առնվազն մի մասը նրան թույլ է տվել աղավաղել սեփական հիշողությունը, որի մանիպուլյացիայով իշխանության եկած Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն այս անգամ փորձելու է վերարտադրվել»,-գրում է թերթը:
