Սիրելի՛ մայրեր և քույրեր,
Այսօր Մայրության և գեղեցկության օրն է.
Բոլոր ժամանակներում էլ հայ կնոջ առաքելությունն անկյունաքարային է եղել մեր պետության կյանքում, սակայն մեր հայրենիքի համար դժվարին և բարդ այս ժամանակահատվածում էլ ավելի է կարևորվում հայ կնոջ ուրույն դերն ու առաքելությունը: Հայ ընտանիքների հիմնասյուն հանդիսացող կինը մշտապես կանգնած է եղել ազգի հարատևման, մեր ձեռքբերումների ու նվաճումների ակունքներում և վստահ եմ, որ այսօր էլ հնարավոր չի լինելու կոտրել հայ կնոջ տոկունությունն ու ապագայի հանդեպ լավատեսությունը:
Այսօր առանձնահատուկ խոնարհումի ու երախտիքի խոսք եմ ուզում հղել 44-օրյա արցախյան երկրորդ պատերազմի ժամանակ հայրենիքի պաշտպանության համար նահատակված մեր բոլոր հերոսների մայրերին և կանանց: Վստահ եմ, որ ձեր հարազատների կորստի անդառնալի մորմոքը բառերով հնարավոր չէ սփոփել, որ այս վերքը երբեք չի սպիանալու, բայց մենք բոլորս հենց մեր հերոսների հիշատակի անմահության համար պետք է ամուր և պինդ լինենք, քանզի մենք մեր հերոսների սերունդներին հաղթանակած հայրենիք վերադարձնելու պարտք ունենք: Իմացե՛ք, որ դուք մենակ չեք: Այս կորուստը մեզանից յուրաքանչյուրինն է և մեր նահատակված հերոսների հիշատակն անմար պահելը մեզանից յուրաքաչյուրի պարտքն ու առաքելությունն է:

Աշխարհի բոլոր հայ մայրերին և քույրերին մաղթում եմ խաղաղ գարուններ, կամք և տոկունություն…
