«Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը նման է մարդասպանի, ով զոհի հարազատներին առաջարկում է կառուցել սպանվածի գերեզմանաքարը։ Հենց այդ իմաստն ունի Արցախի ու Հայաստանի ապագայի մասին երեկ արած նրա հայտարարությունը, որին առանց ամոթի ու արժանապատվության զգացումի՝ ծափահարում էին տասնյակ իշխանական պատգամավորներ։

Բայց Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի ցինիզմի ու ամբարտավանության համար ամենաքիչը մեղավոր է ինքը՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։ Ընդամենը վեց ամիս առաջ նա մասնակից է եղել գլոբալ մասշտաբի աղետաբեր գործողության, նրա՝ լավագույն դեպքում՝ անկարողության, ըստ այլ կարծիքների՝ դավաճանության հետևանքով զոհվել են հազարավոր հայորդիներ, վիրավորել են տասնյակհազարավորները, հանձնվել է Արցախի մեծ մասը, վտանգվել են Հայաստանի սահմանները։

Դրանից հետո Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը կարող էր լավագույն դեպքում երազել ուղղակի հրաժարականի մասին։ Բայց նա կարողացավ մարսել այդ ամենը, մարսել այնպես ու այնքան, որ այսօր ոչ միայն պատրաստվում է ընտրությունների, այլ իր հիստերիկ ոճի հանգույն մեղավորներ է նշանակում ու դատավճիռներ է արձակում։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի այդ ցինիզմի սնողն ընդհանուր առմամբ հայ հասարակությունն է, ավելի առարկայորեն՝  իրենց ընդդիմադիր հորջորջող որոշ խմբերն ու գործիչներն են, որոնք հանրային ընդվզումն ու ցասումը կարողացան մսխել այնպես, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը մտածեց՝ եթե կարելի է անհետևանք մարսել կապիտուլյացիան, ինչո՞ւ հանձնել իշխանությունը, առավել ևս՝ կրել պատասխանատվություն։

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ուղիղ, անհատական ու հասցեական մեղավորություն ունի Արցախին ու Հայաստանին պատուհասած աղետի համար։ Բայց նա պատասխանատվության փոխարեն՝ հիմա հայցում է թույլ տալ իրեն կառուցել սպանվածի ապագան։ Նրան այդ ճանապարհին ոչ միայն որևէ մեկը չի կանգնեցնում, այլ հակառակը՝ նրա շրջապատում գտնվողներն են կանգնում ոտքի ու ծափահարում բրեժնևյան ոճով։

Դրանք իրենց նշանակությամբ ու ապաբարոյականությամբ սովորական ծափեր չէին։ Այդ ծափերը դեպի Եռաբլուր կայացած պարադի շարքի ծափահարություններ էին։ Դրանք նաև հայտնի տորթի ու հրավառության բնույթի ծափահարություններ էին։

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի գործողություններում կա տրամաբանություն ու հետևողականություն։ Նա բոլոր հնարավոր միջոցներով վարկաբեկել, հեղինակազրկել, փչացրել է անցյալը, նախկինի բոլոր ձեռքբերումները և ցանկանում է «ամեն ինչ սկսել իր կետից»։

Այդ առումով Արցախի հանձնումը, որքան էլ ողբերգական հնչի, Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի համար ոչ միայն, իսկ գուցե ոչ այնքան կորուստ էր, որքան հենց այդ սեփական կետի մեկնարկ։ Արցախը նորանկախ Հայաստանի բոլոր ձեռքբերումների մարմնավորումն էր, ձեռքբերումներ, որոնցում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն անգամ հեռավոր մասնակցություն չի ունեցել։

Նա հաջողեց զրոյացնել այդ ձեռքբերումները և հիմա ցանկանում է ապագա կառուցել ավերակների, մի ողջ սերնդի երիտասարդների դիակների վրա։ Բարոյականությանն  անհաղորդ մի քանի տասնյակ պատգամավորի աղմկոտ ծափահարությունների ու իրականության ողբերգականությանն անհաղորդ տասնյակ կամ գուցե հարյուրհազարավոր քաղաքացիների անպատեհ լռության ներքո»,-գրում է թերթը։
