Ուզում եմ շնորհավորել բոլորիս՝ Հաղթանակի և խաղաղության տոնի առիթով:
 
Այսօր շատ է խոսվում այն մասին, թե արդյո՞ք մենք նշում ենք մայիսյան Եռատոն, թե ոչ:
Ես ուզում եմ հարց հղել մեզ բոլորիս: Իսկ արդյոք մենք մոռացե՞լ ենք հարյուր հազարավոր հայորդիների՝ մեր պապերի սխրանքներն ու թափված արյունը՝ ֆաշիզմի դեմ պայքարում, թե՞ մոռացել ենք Շուշին ազատագրած մեր հերոսների՝ մեզ պարգևած փառապանծ հաղթանակը կամ Արցախի պաշտպանության բանակի սպաների և զինվորների և առհասարակ հանուն մեր ազատության նահատակված և հերոսացած մեր եղբայրների, հայրերի և որդիների թափված արյունը, որոնք կենաց-մահու կռիվ են տվել ընդդեմ թշնամու:
 
Պարտված է այն ժողովուրդը, որը պարտված է ոգով: Թշնամին ուզում է, որ մենք ձեռք բերենք պարտված ժողովրդի բարդույթ և դրանով իսկ ծնկի բերել մեզ: Բայց նա չգիտի, որ անհնար է կոտրել հազարավոր տարիների պատմություն և մշակույթ կերտած ժաղովուրդի ազատատենչ ոգին: Մեր արժանապատվությունը, մեր պապենական հողի վրա խաղաղ և ազատ ապրելու, արարելու, ինքնուրույն մեր ապագան որոշելու մեր ձգտումն ու իրավունքը երբեք չի կարող զոհաբերվել: Մենք պետք է լինենք արժանի մեր բոլոր նահատակված հերոսների հիշատակին:
 
Ներկայիս անթույլատրելի հուսախաբության և հուսալքության, մեղադրանքի, ատելության խոսքի տարածման, պառակտման և անհանդուրժողականության մթնոլորտում բոլորը փնտրում են ներքին թշնամիներ, մեղավորներ և պատասխանատուներ:
 
Միթե մենք չե՞նք հասկանում, որ թշնամին հենց դա է ուզում, միթե դասեր չե՞նք քաղել մեր իսկ պատմությունից:
 
Չկա ավելի մեծ չարիք, քան ժողովրդի պառակտումը, սևերի և սպիտակների, հների և նորերի բաժանումը:
 
Մենք պարտավոր ենք համախմբվել ազգային շահի շուրջ, հանուն մեր ազգային նպատակների, հանուն մեր երկրի և ժողովրդի անվտանգության, բարեկեցության, մեր ինքնության պահպանման և մեր երեխաների լուսավոր ապագայի:
Մենք ուղղելու ենք մեր մեջքը, մենք կառուցելու ենք տնտեսապես ուժեղ, ինտելեկտուալ, անվտանգ Հայաստան՝ ժամանակակից, մարտունակ, տեխնոլոգիապես հագեցած բանակով, բարձր արտադրողականությամբ, գիտելիքահեն տնտեսությամբ, մրցունակ կրթությամբ և գիտությամբ:
 
Մենք դա անելու ենք մեր աշխատանքով և միասնությամբ, անելու ենք ազգովի, բոլորս միասին:
 
Եվ մենք դեռ կերտելու ենք նորանոր հաղթանակներ: Չկասկածեք դրանում:
