«Ինչու առաջինը Սև լիճը դարձավ ադրբեջանական զինուժի հարձակման թիրախը, որտեղ արդեն մոտ հազարի չափ ադրբեջանական զինծառայող է տեղակայված, չնայած վարչապետը երեկ 500-600 թիվն էր նշում։ Մեր կողմից էլ, ի դեպ, համարժեք թվաքանակ է կանգնած, բայց՝ տեղական ուժերից։

Մեր աղբյուրներն ասում են, որ ճանապարհներից մեկը կամ միջանցքը, որը թուրք-ադրբեջանական տանդեմը պատկերացնում է, անցնելու է ոչ թե Մեղրիով, այլ Սյունիքի վերին հատվածով՝ Սև լճի մերձակայքում։ Ադրբեջանական կողմը, ըստ էության, սկսել է այդ միջանցքի կառուցման գործը և մինչև Սև լիճ արդեն գրունտային ճանապարհ է անցկացրել, որը, հույս ունի, որ շարունակություն կունենա։
