Րոպերեն առաջ Սարդարապատի հուշահամալիր ժամանեց ՀՀ նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը: Նրանից մի քանի րոպե հետո ժամանեց նաեւ ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը:

Ավելի վաղ NEWS.am-ը հայտնել էր, որ ոստիկանության մի քանի տասնյակ մեքենաներ, ծառայողներ ու Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի անվտանգության` Պետական պահպանության ծառայության ծառայողներ ժամը 07։00-ից փակ են պահում Սարդարապատի մուտքը ոչ միայն քաղաքացիների, այլ նաև լրագրողների համար։

Հայտնի դարձավ, որ լրագրողների մուտքն արգելվելու է այնքան ժամանակ, քանի դեռ Սարդարապատում է վարչապետի պաշտոնակատար Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը: Իսկ միջոցառումը լուսաբանելու իրավունք է ստացել միայն Հանրային հեռուստաընկերությունը:

Հիշեցնենք, որ նախապես Ոստիկանությունը հաղորդագրություն էր տարածել, որ Առաջին Հանրապետության կազմավորմանը  նվիրված արարողակարգային միջոցառումներով պայմանավորված՝ մայիսի 28-ին, ժամը 8.00-ից 11.00-ն ընկած ժամանակահատվածում, տրանսպորտային միջոցների և քաղաքացիների համար մուտքը փակ կլինի Սարդարապատի հերոսամարտի հուշահամալիր:
