ООН предоставит Армении финансовую помощь в размере $230 млн

Соглашение "Партнерство ООН в области устойчивого развития для Армении на 2021-2025 годы" было подписано накануне. Подписи под документом поставили и.о. вице-премьера Армении Мгер Григорян и постоянный координатор ООН в Армении Шомби Шарп.

 ООН предоставит Армении финансовую помощь в размере 230 миллионов долларов. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба правительства Армении.

Соглашение "Партнерство ООН в области устойчивого развития для Армении на 2021-2025 годы", в рамках которого будут предоставлены средства, подписали и.о. вице-премьера республики Мгер Григорян и постоянный координатор ООН в Армении Шомби Шарп.

Отмечается, что соглашение о партнерстве является важнейшим стратегическим документом, определяющим работу всех структур ООН в Армении на ближайшие пять лет, и является результатом 14-месячных консультаций с правительством Армении и другими национальными партнерами, включая организации гражданского общества, международные финансовые институты, международных партнеров, частный сектор, научные круги и международные НПО.

Перед церемонией подписания с приветственной речью выступил Мгер Григорян, отметив, что все сферы и направления, упомянутые в документе, играют ключевую роль для Армении.

 

Шомби Шарп в свою очередь отметил, что документ стал  новым важным ориентиром для и "без того тесного сотрудничества между Арменией и Организацией Объединенных Наций". Шарп выразил уверенность, что ООН при поддержке партнерских организаций сможет внести значительный вклад в развитие страны и помочь "двигаться к более яркой, мирной и процветающей Армении".
