Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ դեսպանատունը հայտնում է․

«ԱՄՆ անկախության տոնը այս տարի կրկին նշում ենք վիրտուալ տիրույթում և հրավիրում ենք ձեզ հետևել մեր տոնական հրապարակումներին ողջ օրվա ընթացքում։

Վերջին տարվա ընթացքում նոր կորոնավիրուսի ու Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության թեժ ռազմական գործողությունների հետևանքով Հայաստանն անցավ ծանր փորձությունների միջոցով ու կորուստներ կրեց։ Մենք այդ ամենը քաջ գիտակցում ենք։

Միաժամանակ, մենք փաստում ենք մեր երկու երկրների մեծ գործընկերությունը՝ խարսխված մեզ միավորող ժողովրդավարական արժեքների վրա։ Այսօր, տոնելով ԱՄՆ Անկախության օրը, մենք նշում ենք նաև մեր գործընկերությունը։

Անկախության 245-րդ տարեդարձին նվիրված արարողությունը սկսում ենք մեր երկու հզոր երկրների օրհներգերի կատարմամբ ու դրոշների ներկայացման կարգով՝ ԱՄՆ ծովահետևակայինների կողմից։

Հաջորդիվ տոնական ուղերձով հանդես կգա դեսպան Թրեյսին՝ խոսելով գրեթե 30 տարվա հայ-ամերիկյան գործընկերության, նոր կորոնավիրուսի համավարակի դեմ պայքարում մեր համագործակցության և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում աշնանը տեղի ունեցած թեժ մարտական գործողություններից հետո ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից ցուցաբերվող մարդասիրական աջակցության մասին։
