Երասխը դիտարկվում է որպես Հյուսիս-Հարավ միջազգային տրանսպորտային միջանցքի առանցքային կետերից մեկը, ինչի մասին խոսել է նաև Իրանի արտգործնախարար Զարիֆը երկու ամիս առաջ Երևանում: Մասնավորապես, նա ընդգծել է տարածաշրջանում նոր տրանսպորտային ճարտարապետության ձևավորման անհրաժեշտությունը՝ դրա հիմքում դնելով Իրան-Նախիջևան-Հայաստան-Վրաստան (Թեհրան-Ջուլֆա-Երասխ-Երևան-Թբիլիսի) երկաթուղու նախագիծը: Նույն այս լոգիստիկայի նպատակահարմարության մասին են խոսել նաև Հնդկաստանի դիվանագիտական կորպուսի ներկայացուցիչները՝ Հնդկական օվկիանոս-Պարսից ծոց-Սև ծով մուլտիմոդալ միջանցքի ձևավորման համատեքստում:
