Ինչպես արդեն տեղեկացրել ենք շարունակվում է ՀՀ 2-րդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի և ՀՀ նախկին փոխվարչապետ, «Հայաստան» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Արմեն Գևորգյանի գործով դատական նիստը: Երևանի ընդհանուր իրավասության դատարանը բավարարեց Արմեն Գևորգյանին հաջորդ դատական նիստին բերման ենթարկելու մասին դատախազ Պետրոս Պետրոսյանի միջնորդությունը։ Նիստը նախագահող դատավոր Աննա Դանիբեկյանը հայտարարեց՝ եթե Գևորգյանը հաջորդ նիստին էլ չներկայանա, ապա ստիպված կլինեն բերման ենթարկել նրան դատարան։

Ինչպես լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշել է փաստաբան Էրիկ Ալեքսանյանը Գևորգյանի անձեռնմխելիության հարցով «Հայաստան» խմբակցությունը դիմել է Սահմանադրական դատարան։ Թեև մեղադրող դատախազ Պետրոս Պետրոսյանը նշել է, որ Արմեն Գևորգյանի՝ որպես ԱԺ պատգամավորի իր աշխատանքային գործունեությունն իրականացնելու հանգամանքը չի կարող դիտվել որպես հարգելի պատճառ դատական նիստերին չմասնակցելու համար։

2-րդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանն էլ նշեց, որ բոլորովին այլ իրավիճակներում է գտնվում Արմեն Գևորգյանի բացակայությունը, քանի որ ԱԺ-ում ընթացող նիստերը Սահմանադրությամբ, օրենքով նախատեսված նիստեր են։ Քոչարյանն ընդգծեց նաև հանգամանքը, որ մեկ մարդու բացակայությունը կարող է ազդել քվեարկության արդյունքների վրա, ինչին ականատես եղանք ընդդիմության կողմից առաջադրված ԱԺ փոխնախագահ ընտրելու պարագայում, երբ ընտրությունը եղավ երրորդ քվեարկությունից հետո միայն։
