Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը տիկնոջ՝ Նունե Սարգսյանի հետ, դեկտեմբերի 5-ին այցելել է Հայաստանի ազգային պատկերասրահ, դիտել «Մեկ օր Պոմպեյում» ցուցադրությունը, այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք նախագահի աշխատակազմի տարածած հաղորդագրությունից, որում նաև նշված է, որ ցուցադրությունը կազմակերպվել է Հայաստանի ազգային պատկերասրահի, Հայաստանում Իտալիայի դեսպանության և Պոմպեյի հնագիտական արգելոցի համագործակցությամբ և կգործի մինչև 2022 թ. հունվարի 16-ը;

Արմեն Սարգսյանը և տիկին Նունե Սարգսյանը, Հայաստանում Իտալիայի դեսպան Ալֆոնսո Դի Ռիզոյի ուղեկցությամբ, շրջել են ցուցասրահներում և ծանոթացել հռոմեական հնագույն քաղաքի հնագիտական ցուցանմուշներին: Դրանց թվում են մեր թվարկության առաջին դարում Վեզուվի ժայթքման հետևանքով կործանված հռոմեական քաղաքի՝ Պոմպեյի առօրյան, նիստուկացը, բարքերն ու սովորույթներն արտացոլող կենցաղային իրեր, մարմարե ու բրոնզե արձանիկներ, ոսկե, արծաթե զարդերը, որմնանկարների բեկորները և եզակի այլ նմուշներ:

Մշակութային շրջայցից հետո նախագահ Սարգսյանը Իտալիայի դեսպանի հետ քննարկում է ունեցել Հանրապետության նախագահի աշխատակազմի հետ համատեղ մշակութային ծրագրերը շարունակելու շուրջ։
