Այսօր սցենարիստ, ՀԽՍՀ ժողովրդական արտիստ, խոշորագույն կինոռեժիսորից մեկի՝ Սերգեյ Փարաջանովի (Սարգիս Փարաջանյան)․ ծննդյան օրն է․ կլրանար նրա 98-ամյակը։

Փարաջանովը բազմատաղանդ մարդ էր: Նա նկատում ու գնահատում էր գեղեցիկը ամեն ինչում: Նրա համար անպետք իր չկար: Իր հրաշագործ ձեռքով ամենասովորական իրերից՝ հնամաշ գլխարկներից, տիկնիկներից, նկարներից, խխունջներից, զարդերից, սպասքի ջարդված կտորներից նա կարողանում էր սքանչելի կոլաժներ ստեղծել:

Սերգեյ Փարաջանովը ծնվել է 1924 թվականին Թիֆլիս քաղաքում` հնավաճառի ընտանիքում։ Այս մասնագիտությունը ժառանգական էր Փարաջանովների ընտանիքում, և հայրը՝ Իոսիֆ Փարաջանովը, հուսով էր, որ իր երեխաներն էլ կշարունակեն իրենց նախնիների գործը։ Իոսիֆը մինչհեղափոխական շրջանի Թիֆլիսի ամենահարուստ մարդկանցից մեկն էր համարվում․ բացի հնավաճառական խանութից, ուներ նաև մի քանի այլ հաստատություններ՝ այդ թվում՝ «Ընտանեկան անկյուն» անվամբ հասարակաց տուն։ Ամուսնու եկամտաբեր բիզնեսին մասնակցում էր նաև կինը՝ Սիրանը, ով անձամբ էր աղջիկներ ընտրում հասարակական տան համար։ Աղջիկներին բերում էին Ֆրանսիայից[9]։

Սերգեյ Փարաջանովի ստեղծագործությունը իր համանմանը չունի համաշխարհային արվեստում: Այն աչքի է ընկնում իր բարձր վարպետությամբ, վառ երևակայությամբ և սրամտությանբ: Նրա աշխատանքներին առանձնակի հմայք և փայլ է հաղորդում օգտագործված առարկաների և նյութի զանազանությունը: Դրանց մեծ մասը ստեղծված է ազատազրկման մեջ:

Ֆելինին նրա մասին ասել է․ «Փարաջանովը «Նռան գույնը» ֆիլմով մի քանի տասնամյակ առաջ մղեց կինոն»։ Երբ նա վախճանվեց, Երևան ուղարկվեց մի հուզիչ հեռագիր․ «Կինոյի աշխարհը մի հրաշագործ կորցրեց: Փարաջանովի երևակայությունը հավերժ կդյութի և ուրախություն կպարգևի աշխարհի ժողովուրդներին»: Հեռագիրը հղված էր Ֆեդերիկո Ֆելինիի, Տոնինո Գուերայի, Ջուլյետա Մազինայի, Ալբերտո Մորավիայի, Մարչելո Մաստրոյանիի և Բեռնարդո Բերտոլուչիի կողմից։
