Ինչպես հայտնի դարձավ նախօրեին Մոսկվայում էր Իրանի նախագահ Իբրահիմ Ռայիսին, որտեղ նա հանդիպել է Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հետ՝ քննարկելով մի շարք աշխարհաքաղաքական ու տարածաշրջանային հիմնահարցեր: Իրանի նախագահի այցը նկատելիորեն հագեցած էր, սակայն նախատեսված չէ փաստաթղթերի ստորագրում, ինչը թերևս վկայում է այն մասին, որ ռուս-իրանական հարաբերությունը ներկայումս գտնվում է մի շարք էական հարցերի փուլում, և կողմերը պատրաստ չեն որոշակիացնել և փաստաթղթավորել էական պայմանավորվածություններ: Ընդ որում, դրա մասին է թերևս վկայում և այն, որ Իրանի նախագահը խոսելով ԱՄՆ հետ դիմակայության մասին, Ռուսաստանին առաջարկել է համատեղ գործողություններ՝ այդպիսով թերևս ակնարկելով ներկայումս ընթացող ԱՄՆ-ՌԴ բանակցային բավականին ինտենսիվ փուլի վերաբերյալ ունեցած կասկածների մասին:

Միաժամանակ հատկանշական է նաև, որ Կրեմլում տեղի ունեցած հանդիպմանը համենայն դեպս բաց, արարողակարգային հատվածում ասված խոսքերում բացակայել է ներկայիս ամենաթեժ թեման՝ Ուկրաինան, որի շուրջ և որի «առիթով» էլ ծավալվում է ԱՄՆ-ՌԴ բանակցային շրջափուլը:

Ըստ էության, ռուս-իրանական հարաբերությունը Հայաստանի համար բնականաբար շատ նուրբ ու զգայուն թեմա է՝ հաշվի առնելով մի շարք իրողություններ: Այդ իմաստով թերևս ուշադրության է արժանի այն, որ Իրանի ու ՌԴ նախագահները իրենց հանդիպման բաց հատվածում չեն շոշափել Հարավային Կովկասի թեմա: Համենայն դեպս նույն արարողակարգային հատվածում այն բացակայում է, թեև կասկած չկա, իհարկե, որ ընդհանուր քննարկումներում հարավկովկասյան թեման առկա է եղել: Սակայն, բաց հատվածում դրա բացակայությունը թերևս նույնպես վկայում է, որ այստեղ կան պատկերացումների հետ կապված խնդիրներ:

Տրամաբանական հարց է առաջանում, թե դա ինչպես կարտացոլվի Հարավային Կովկասի, մասնավորապես Հայաստանի վրա, հայ-իրանական հարաբերության վրա, Պարսից ծոց-Սև ծով օրակարգի վրա, իհարկե նաև հաղորդուղիների ապաշրջափակման այն աշխատանքի վրա, որ տարվում է ՌԴ հովանու ներքո՝ եռակողմ ձևաչափում: Թերևս նկատելի է, որ Իրանի համար Ռուսաստանի ռեգիոնալ քաղաքականությունը դիտարկվում է ԱՄՆ-ի հետ նրա բանակցության առնչությամբ ունեցած կասկածի համատեքստում: Ընդ որում, բացառված չէ, որ Թեհրանն այդ տրամաբանության ներքո է դիտարկում նաև հայ-թուրքական գործընթացը, որի առաջին հանդիպումը տեղի ունեցավ Մոսկվայում հունվարի 14-ին:
