Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ընդունել է ԵԱՀԿ մամուլի ազատության հարցերով ներկայացուցիչ Թերեզա Ռիբեյրոյի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը:

Վարչապետը կարևորել է ՀՀ կառավարության և ԵԱՀԿ-ի միջև համագործակցությունը՝ մեր երկրում ժողովրդավարական բարեփոխումներն արյդունավետ առաջ մղելու նպատակով: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը նշել է, որ վերջին տարիների ընթացքում Հայաստանում ժողովրդավարության զարգացման ու ամրապնդման նպատակով, այդ թվում՝ եվրոպական գործընկերների հետ սերտ համագործակցությամբ, իրականացվել են բազմաթիվ բարեփոխումներ և այդ օրակարգը շարունակում է մնալ կառավարության առաջնահերթություններից մեկը: Վարչապետն ընդգծել է կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարում իրականացվող հետևողական քայլերը և նկատել, որ միջազգային հեղինակավոր կազմակերպությունների ինդեքսներում մեր երկիրը գրանցել է զգալի առաջընթաց: Կառավարության ղեկավարը կարևորել է նաև մամուլի ազատության ոլորտում 2018 թվականից հետո արձանագրված դրական փոփոխությունները և նկատել, որ վերջին տարիների ընթացքում Հայաստանում ԶԼՄ-ների մեծ մասը, այդ թվում հեռուստատեսային, ունեն ընդդիմադրիր ուղղվածություն: Վարչապետը հավելել է, որ մամուլի ազատության ոլորտում բարեփոխումներն իրականացվում են՝ հաշվի առնելով միջազգային պրակտիկան, փորձն ու չափանիշները:

ԵԱՀԿ մամուլի ազատության հարցերով ներկայացուցիչ Թերեզա Ռիբեյրոն նշել է, որ ժողովրդավարության ամրապնդման ոլորտում ՀՀ կառավարության քայլերը ոգևորիչ ու գնահատելի են: Թերեզա Ռիբեյրոն ընդգծել է ԵԱՀԿ-ի և ՀՀ կառավարության միջև խոսքի ազատության ոլորտում արդյունավետ համագործակցության կարևորությունը, այդ թվում՝ ապատեղեկատվության դեմ պայքարում նոր գործիքների ներդրման նպատակով: Տիկին Ռիբեյրոն նշել է, որ ԵԱՀԿ-ն պատրաստ է նպաստել նաև լրագրողների փորձի փոխանակման, մասնագիտական կարողությունների զարգացման գործընթացին: Ընդգծվել է նաև կառավարության և քաղաքացիական հասարակության սերտ համագործակցության կարևորությունը:
