«Իրավունք» թերթը գրում է. «ԱԳ նախկին նախարար Արա Այվազյանին այլեւս չի հետաքրքրում ոչ դիվանագիտությունը, ոչ քաղաքականությունը՝ «Ես ինձ լրիվ դուրս եմ մղել թե դիվանագիտությունից, թե քաղաքականությունից, ես հիմա շարքային քաղաքացի եմ, ինձ չի հետաքրքրում որեւէ քաղաքական, դիվանագիտական հարց»,- «Իրավունքի» հետ զրույցում ասաց Բաղրամյան պողոտայով զբոսնող, նախկին նախարար Արա Այվազյանը:

Հարցին, իսկ որպես շարքային քաղաքացի չի՞ հետաքրքրում Հայաստանի ճակատագիրը, նա միայն նկատեց. «Լավ էլի, ախր ասացի, լավ եղեք»:

Այսքանով հանդերձ, երեւի նախկին նախարարը պետք է լավ իմանա հայտնի արտահայտությունը. «Եթե դու չես զբաղվում քաղաքականությունով, քաղաքականությունը կզբաղվի քեզանով»: Նկատի ունենք, որ 44-օրյա պատերազմի հետ կապված՝ պարոն Այվազյանն այն կարգի մեղքեր եւ տեղեկություններ ունի, որ արդեն չի կարող իրեն պարզապես քաղաքականությունից դուրս համարելով, ամեն ինչ ջրված համարել: Կարճ ասած, երեւի կգա օրը, որ քաղաքականությունը պարոն Այվազյանով լրջորեն կհետաքրքրվի»:
