«Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» կուսակցությունը մեծ թափով լծվել է Երևանի ավագանու ընտրությունները հնարավորինս շուտ կազմակերպելու գործընթացին։ Մեր տեղեկություններով, արդեն իսկ փաթեթը պատրաստ է, և առաջիկայում Ազգային ժողովին է ներկայացվելու Երևանի վարչատարածքային փոփոխությունների նոր նախագիծը, որով Ջրվեժը կմիանա Երևան համայնքին, ինչը հնարավորություն կտա Երևանի ավագանու արտահերթ ընտրություններ անել։ Բանն այն է, որ այլ տարբերակ արտահերթ ընտրություններ անելու գործող իշխանությունը պարզապես չունի, օրենքը թույլ չի տալիս ընտրված քաղաքապետին հեռացնել իշխանությունից, ընտրվելուց հետո մեկ տարի ժամկետում, և միակ եղանակը վարչատարածքային նոր փոփոխություն իրականացնել խորհրդարանով և նոր ընտրություններ նշանակելն է։ 
 
Վերջին օրերին անասելի ակտիվություն է դրսևորում նաև Երևանի ավագանու ընտրություններում «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր»-ի ցուցակը գլխավորող Տիգրան Ավինյանը։ Վերջինս հանդիպումներ է նախաձեռնում վարչական շրջաններում, փորձում հասկանալ, թե ինչ հնարավորություն ունի «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր»-ը, որտեղ են իրենց թույլ տեղերը և ինչ կարող են անել։ 

Երևանի ավագանու մեր աղբյուրի փոխանցմամբ, պատճառն այն է, որ Երևանի քաղաքապետ Հրաչյա Սարգսյանը լիովին դուրս է եկել իշխող ուժի վերահսկողությունից և ընդհուպ մտածում է սեփական դեմքով ու ուժով Երևանի ավագանու ընտրություններին մասնակցելու մասին։ Երևանի գործող քաղաքապետը՝ Կենտրոն վարչական շրջանի նախկին ղեկավար Վիկտոր Մնացականյանի դրդմամբ և մասնակցությամբ, վերջին օրերին հանդիպումներ է ունեցել Երևանի ավագանու «Իմ քայլը» խմբակցության մի քանի անդամների հետ, փորձել նրանց համոզել, թե գործող իշխանությունները չունեն բավարար չափով վարկանիշ ՏԻՄ ընտրություններում անհրաժեշտ հաղթանակն ապահովելու և փորձել է համոզել, թե հենց ինքն է դառնալու Երևանի քաղաքապետը։
