ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը մայիսի 9-ին կստորագրի Ուկրաինայի «Լենդ֊լիզի» մասին օրենքը, որը կհեշտացնի զենքի մատակարարումը Կիևին, հայտարարել է Սպիտակ տան մամուլի քարտուղար Ջեն Փսակին։ Նախկինում օրինագիծը հաստատվել էր ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսի երկու պալատների կողմից։

«Երկուշաբթի օրը նախագահը կստորագրի «Լենդ-լիզի» օրենքը՝ Ուկրաինայում ժողովրդավարությունը պաշտպանելու համար»,- ասել է Փսակին (մեջբերում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը):

Ավելի վաղ ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսի պալատը հավանություն էր տվել Ուկրաինային «մինչև ռազմական գործողությունների ավարտը» «Լենդ-լիզի» մասին օրինագծին։ Այնուհետև փաստաթուղթը պետք է ստորագրի Բայդենը, իսկ դրա ուժի մեջ մտնելուց ոչ ուշ, քան 90 օր հետո նախագահը պետք է արագացված ընթացակարգեր սահմանի Ուկրաինային ռազմական օգնությունը ժամանակին տրամադրելու համար։ Ստորագրումից հետո Բայդենը լայն լիազորություններ կունենա Կիևի հետ զենքի մատակարարման կամ վարձակալության վերաբերյալ պայմանագրեր կնքելու համար։

Փաստաթուղթը, որը վերնագրված է «Վարձակալության օրենքը՝ ի պաշտպանություն Ուկրաինայում ժողովրդավարության, 2022 թ. Կոնգրեսի վերին պալատ է ներկայացվել երկկուսակցական օրենսդիրների կողմից դեռ հունվարին՝ Ուկրաինայում Ռուսաստանի ռազմական գործողության մեկնարկից առաջ։

Պետդումայի խոսնակ Վյաչեսլավ Վոլոդինն իր հերթին հայտարարել է, որ Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վոլոդիմիր Զելենսկին, ընդունելով ԱՄՆ-ից օգնություն Լենդ-Լիզի շրջանակներում, իր երկիրը տանում է դեպի «պարտքի անդունդ»։ Նրա խոսքով՝ «Վաշինգտոնի շարժառիթները պարզ են», իսկ Լենդ-Լիզը մի քանի անգամ կավելացնի ամերիկյան ռազմական կորպորացիաների շահույթը։ Նրա խոսքով՝ մինչև 2006 թվականը Ռուսաստանը վճարում էր ԱՄՆ-ին Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմի ժամանակ ԽՍՀՄ-ին «Լենդ-Լիզինգով» զենքի մատակարարման համար։
