ԵՏՄ-ին անդամակցելով մենք զիջում ենք մեր ինքնիշխանության 1/3-ը: Նման հայտարարություն արեց ԱԺ-ում ՀԱԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր Հրանտ Բագրատյանը՝ ՀՀ-ի՝ ԵՏՄ պայմանագրին միանալու քննարկման ժամանակ:
«Բոլորս ընտրվել ենք եվրոինտեգրման խոստումների ֆոնի վրա, հիմա ոչ միայն չենք ինտեգրվում, այլ կորցնում ենք մեր ինքնիշխանությունը: Մենք սրանից հետո արտաքին տնտեսական քաղաքականություն ինքնուրույն չենք վարելու, վարելու է մեկ այլ մարմին, իսկ մենք կունենանք ինչ-որ մասնակցություն»,-ասաց Հրանտ Բագրատյանը և հավելեց, որ ցանկացած «իմպերիա» փոխանակություն է ենթադրում, ուստի հարցրեց. «Մի հատ ասեք՝ ստեղ ո՞վ ի՞նչ է փոխանակել: Խորհրդային Միությունը պատահական չէր ստեղծվել, փոխանակության սկզբունքով ստեղծվում է տուն, մեկն այդ տունը տաքացնում է, երկրորդը կառավարում է, երրորդը հացն է բերում, չորրորդը՝ դեսերտ, Հայաստանին միշտ դեսերտ բերելու պատիվն է եղել»,- ասաց նա:
Հրանտ Բագրատյանի համար անհասկանալի է, թե ի՞նչն է խանգարում զարգացնել հայ-ղազախական կամ հայ-ռուսական առևտուրը՝ առանց խիստ մաքսատուրքերի՝ 2 տոկոսից 8 տոկոսի անցում կատարելով:
«Ես ասել եմ, որ Մաքսային միություն մտնելու դեպքում շատ հնարավոր է, որ մեր տնտեսական աճը զրոյանա: Պուտինը ընտրվեց պրեզիդենտ ու անմիջապես հայտարարեց, որ ուզում է ստեղծել այդ միությունը: Եվ եթե մենք ստիպված ենք եղել գնալու այս միություն, ուրեմն նորմալ բանակցեիք: Կարգին աշխատեք, մի' տվեք մոնոպոլիաները: Այսօր Հայաստանում կա ռեւոլյուցիոն կրիզիսի հիմք: Ինչ է, չի՞ կարելի ռուսներին ասել` չէ: Հիմա դուք եկել, ասում եք` եթե ԵՏՄ-ին չմիանանք, ռուսները մեզանից կնեղանան, ու մենք կընկնենք Ադրբեջանի ու Թուրքիայի ձեռքը ու կկորցնենք պետականությունը, դրա համար գնանք ԵՏՄ, այնտեղ կորցնենք պետականությունը: Տենց չի, ու տենց չի լինում` ընդհանրապես: Եթե այդպես եք մտածում, ուրեմն դուրս եկեք իշխանությունից, և իշխանությունը տվեք մեզ»,- ասաց Հրանտ Բագրատյանը:
