Դեռևս ուշքի չեկած այն ոբերգական իրադարձություններից, որոնք զարգանում են Իրաքում, Սիրիայում, Ուկրաինայում և աշխարհի այլ “թեժ կետերում”, միջազգային հանրությունը դեմ առ դեմ բախվեց ևս մեկ չարիքի` Էբոլա տենդի վիրուսին, որն Արևմտյան Աֆրիկայում արդեն հազարից ավելի մարդու կյանք է խլել: Վարակվածների մահացության բարձր ցուցանիշն ու բուժամիջոց պատվաստանյութի բացակայությունը յուղ են լցնում կրակի վրա ու ավելի խտացնում գրեթե խուճապային տրամադրությունը, քանի որ Երկրագունդն այսօր ավելի ու ավելի է նմանվում նախնադարյա հակահիգիենիկ գյուղի, որտեղ իրենց տարածման պարարտ հողն են գտնում ամեն տեսակի վիրուսիները: Չէ որ այսօր յուրաքանչյյուրն իր խնդիրներն ունի: Ասենք օրինակ հրեան կամ արաբը կամ ռուսն ու ուկրաինացին ինչու պետք է անհանգստանան էբոլայով, եթե նույնիսկ իրենց երկիր “Աֆրիկայից հյուրեր” են այցելում:
Բժիշկ-վիրուսոլոգները կարծում են, որ անհանգստանալու առանձնակի առիթներ այս պահին չկան, քանի որ դեռ հնարավոր է համաճարակը պահել լոկալ մակարդակի վրա ու կանխարգելիչ միջոցառումներ ձեռնարկել: Բացի այդ, հարուցիչը այնքան էլ դիմացկուն չէ, չի փոխանցվում օդա-կաթիլային ճանապարհով, միայն փոխանցվում է ջրի ու սննդի միջոցով: Միայն այն դեպքում մարդը վարակ կվերցնի, եթե նպատակադրված կերպով չպահպանի հիգիենայի տարրական կանոնները: Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպությունը տվյալներ է փոխանցել առաջին գրանցված դեպքի վերաբերյալ:
Ըստ այդմ, առաջին մահվան դեպքը գրանցվել է այս տարվա դեկտեմբերին Գինեա գյուղակում, Սյեռա Լեոնեի սահմանագծին, երբ մանկահասակ երեխան կերել էր այն սննդից, որից կծել էր վարակակիր չղջիկը: Երեխայից արդեն վարակվել էին նրա մայրն ու քույրը և այդպես վիրուսը տարածվել էր ու վերածվել համաճարակի, որի դեմ այսօր արդեն պայքարում են միջազգային մակարդակով:
Դժվար է ասել, թե երբ կկանխվի այս հերթական վիրուսը, սակայն այն կլինի միայն հերթականը: Հարցն ավելի գլոբալ է ու խորքային: Դժվար թե այս վիրուսի կանխումից հետո աշխարհն իր վերաբերմունքը փոխի Աֆրիկայի հանդեպ, դժվար թե աֆրիկյան գյուղերն ու քաղաքները լիովին ապահովված լինեն սանիտարական ու հիգիենիկ տարրական պայմաններով, դժվար թե կենսապայմանները այնտեղ բարձրանան ու հասնեն գոնե հետխորհրդային անցումային երկրների մակարդակին:
Աֆրիկան կմնա էլի որպես հանքահումքային ու էժան աշխատուժի շտեմարան, նաև քողարկված հանցավորության օջախներից մեկը համաշխարհային մասշտաբով: Ու դժվար թե քաղաքակիրթ աշխարհը զգա իր մեղավրության բաժինն ու պատասխանատվությունը այդ ամենի մեջ. մինչդեռ հենց նույն քաղաքակիրթ աշխարհը, նույն Եվրոպան ու ԱՄՆ-ն, կոպտագույն կերպով միջամտելով, խանգարել են մի ողջ քաղաքակրթության, մի ողջ մայրցամաքի պատմական համաչափ ու ներդաշնակ զարգացմանը իրենց ժամանակին, ու հիմա քաղում են իրենց արարքների պտուղները` ամենայն դառնությամբ:
