Երկկողմ հարաբերությունների կարգավորման գործընթացի շրջանակում Հայաստանի և Թուրքիայի ներկայացուցիչների նոր հանդիպումը կարող է կայանալ սեպտեմբերին` Կարս քաղաքում: Տեղեկությունը հայտնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը` վկայակոչելով «Ուլուսալ» հեռուստաալիքի դիվանագիտական աղբյուրներին։

Հանդիպմանը նախատեսվում է երկու երկրների արտաքին գործերի, առևտրի և տրանսպորտի նախարարությունների ներկայացուցիչների մասնակցությունը: Հանդիպման արդյունքում տեխնիկական հարցեր կսկսեն մշակել, որոնց շուրջ պայմանավորվածություններ ձեռք կբերվեն։

Ըստ աղբյուրի` Թուրքիայի ներկայացուցիչներն արդեն ստուգում են իրականացրել Հայաստանի հետ սահմանակից շրջաններում: Մասնավորապես, նրանք ուշադրություն են դարձրել Իգդիրի նահանգում 2 երկրները միացնող Ալիջան կամրջի և դրա մոտ տանող մայրուղու վերանորոգման աշխատանքների իրականացման անհրաժեշտության վրա:

Բացի այդ, նրանք զննել են Անի քաղաքի ավերակները և Հայաստանի հետ կապված այլ մշակութային օբյեկտներ։ Թուրքիայում ակնկալում են, որ Հայաստանի քաղաքացիները մեծ հետաքրքրություն կցուցաբերեն սահմանամերձ շրջաններ այցելելու հարցում։ Նշվում է, որ որոշ տեղացիներ արդեն սկսել են իրենց տները հյուրատների վերածել։

Հիշեցնենք, որ ՀՀ ԱԳՆ հայտնել էր, որ հարաբերությունների կարգավորման հարցերով Հայաստանի և Թուրքիայի հատուկ ներկայացուցիչների հերթական հանդիպման վերաբերյալ այս պահի դրությամբ որևէ պայմանավորվածություն չկա։
