Hightech.plus-ը գրում է, որ Տեխաս նահանգի Օսթին բնակավայրում կառուցվում է առաջին բնակելի համալիրը, որն ամբողջությամբ հագեցած է արևային տանիքով և Tesla-ի Powerwall տնային մարտկոցներով: Բնակարանների գնորդներն անմիջապես կներառվեն ընկերության էներգետիկ արտադրանքների և ծառայությունների էկոհամակարգում, ներառյալ, ըստ երևույթին, տները միացնելով վիրտուալ բաշխված էլեկտրակայանին, որը Tesla-ն նույնպես ստեղծում է Տեխասում: Մի կողմից հարմար է, մյուս կողմից այլընտրանք չկա, եթե անգամ ինչ-որ բան այն չլինի։

Ըստ Electrek-ի՝ Tesla-ն անցյալ տարի պայմանագիր է կնքել Տեխաս նահանգի Օսթին քաղաքի նոր շենքերում արևային տանիքների և Powerwall մարտկոցների լայնածավալ տեղադրման համար:

Easton Park նախագիծը նախատեսված է 12 հազար առանձնատների համար։ Այն համատեղ ձեռնարկություն է կանադական Brookfield Asset Management-ի ներդրումային հիմնադրամի, անշարժ գույքի ծրագրավորող Dacra-ի և արևային վահանակների և մարտկոցների մատակարար Tesla Energy-ի միջև:

Իլոն Մասկի ընկերությունը վաղուց է զբաղվում արևային մարտկոցների արտադրությամբ և տեղադրմամբ, թեև ոչ այնքան հաջող, որքան էլեկտրական մեքենաների արտադրությունն է։ Ընկերության մի շարք սխալներ հանգեցրել են ուռճացված գների և մատակարարումների զգալի ուշացումների: Այդ դժվարությունները դեռևս չի հաջողվել հաղթահարել մինչև վերջ։

Անցյալ եռամսյակում Tesla-ն դադարեցրել էր արևային տանիքների նոր նախագծերի պլանավորումը: Այնուամենայնիվ, Easton Park նախագիծը կարևոր քայլ է դեպի Tesla Energy-ի հիմնական նպատակը, որն է ԱՄՆ-ի յուրաքանչյուր տուն վերածել էլեկտրակայանի, որը կստեղծի, կպահի և կբաշխի էներգիան ընդհանուր ցանցին՝ օգտագործելով ընկերության արտադրանքը:

Ըստ ռիելթորի կայքի՝ տարածքի մի քանի տներ արդեն հագեցած են Tesla Solar Roof վահանակներով և Powerwall մարտկոցներով, ինչը կնվազեցնի էներգիայի ծախսերը և նույնիսկ կարող է սեփականատերերին պասիվ եկամուտ ապահովել, եթե համակարգը արտադրի ավելի շատ էներգիա, քան պահանջվում է տան կարիքների համար։

Հավանաբար ապագայում Easton Park տարածքը նաև միացված կլինի վիրտուալ էլեկտրակայանին, որը Tesla-ն ստեղծում է Տեխասում: Հարավային Կալիֆոռնիայում նմանատիպ կայանի բետա տարբերակն արդեն ներառում է 2,3 միլիոն տների սեփականատեր և թույլ է տալիս նրանց վաստակել 2 դոլար ցանցին տրվող յուրաքանչյուր կիլովատ ժամի համար:
