Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է. 

1999-ի հոկտեմբերի 27-ի ոճիրն ուղղված էր Հայոց պետականության եւ ինչու չէ իշխող քաղաքական թիմի՝ «Միասնություն» դաշինքի դեմ։
Այն մեծ հարված էր նաեւ ուղղված Հանրապետական կուսակցությանը։
Սպանվեցին Հանրապետականի առաջնորդ Վազգեն Սարգսյանը,ՀՀԿ ղեկավարներից Յուրի Բախշյանն ու անվանի ազատամարտիկ,Վազգենի զինակից Արմենակ Արմենակյանը։
Հոկտեմբերի 27-ի ահաբեկչությունը մեր նորագույն պատմության ամենաողբերգական էջերից է։
Այն կրակոց էր ուղղված հայկական Արցախի ու մեր «պատմական կաղապարների» դեմ։
Հոկտեմբերի 27-ի աշխարհաքաղաքական շահառուները գլոբալիստական,հակահայկական ու թուրքամետ ուժերնն էին,ովքեր դեմ էին Վազգեն Սարգսյան-Ռոբերտ Քոչարյան-Սերժ Սարգսյան գաղափարական գծին ու որոշումներին Արցախյան հարցում։
Իմ խորին համոզմամբ,այս ոճրագործությունը հարված էր Ազատ ու Անկախ Արցախի նկատմամբ եւս,որն իր շարունակությունը ստացավ 2018-ի իշխանափոխությամբ ու 2020-ի նոյեմբերի 9-ի կապիտուլյացիայով։
Դժբախտաբար ,հայոց պետականության դեմ կրակոցները շարունակվում են նաեւ այսօր՝ «խաղաղության»,իսկ իրականում կործանման օրակարգի քողի տակ։
Լույս եւ խաղաղություն Կարեն Դեմիրճյանի, Վազգեն Սարգսյանի ,Ռուբեն Միրոյանի, Յուրի Բախշյանի, Միքայել Քոթանյանի, Լեոնարդ Պետրոսյանի, Հենրիկ Աբրահամյանի եւ Արմենակ Արմենակյանի հոգիներին:
