3dnews.ru-ն գրում է, որ Airbus-ի X-Works լաբորատորիայում իրականացված փորձը ցույց է տվել, որ արեգակնային էներգիան կարող է արտադրվել տիեզերքում և փոխանցվել Երկիր միկրոալիքների միջոցով: Airbus ուղեծրային էլեկտրակայանի մոդելը, որպես փորձարկման մաս, արևային մարտկոցներով հավաքված էներգիան փոխանցել է ուղեծրից Երկիր, որը սնուցել է քաղաքի փողոցային լուսավորության մոդելը, ջրածնի գեներատորը և ոչ ալկոհոլային գարեջուրով լցված սառնարանը: Փոխանցման հեռավորությունը եղել է 30 մետր, բայց դա միայն սկիզբն է:

Այսօր աշխարհում բազմաթիվ նախագծեր են մշակվում՝ տիեզերքում արեգակնային էներգիան հավաքելու և միկրոալիքային կամ լազերային ճառագայթման տեսքով Երկիր փոխանցելու համար։ Դա անում են ԱՄՆ-ում, Չինաստանում, Ռուսաստանում և այլ երկրներում։ Մթնոլորտի նման խոչընդոտի բացակայությունը հնարավորություն է տալիս ուղեծրում 50%-ով ավելի շատ էներգիա հավաքել արևային մարտկոցների նույն քանակից, ինչ Երկրի վրա: Բայց ուղեծրային արևային էլեկտրակայանների չափերը պետք է հսկայական լինեն, որպեսզի դրանց հզորությունը սկսի նշանակալի դեր խաղալ գետնին գտնվող օբյեկտներին էներգիա ապահովելու գործում: Դրանք մեկ քառակուսի կիլոմետր շառավղով արևային ֆերմաներ են և մեծ գումարներ են պահանջում, ընդ որում կան զուգորդված դեռևս չլուծված տեխնոլոգիական խնդիրներ։

Այդ ուղղությամբ առաջին և համեստ քայլը կարելի է համարել Airbus լաբորատորիայում իրականացված փորձը։ Ուղեծրային արևային էլեկտրակայանի մոդելը հավաքել է արևի լույսը և այն փոխանցել միկրոալիքային ընդունիչին ընդամենը 36 մ հեռավորության վրա: Բայց հետո ամեն ինչ ավելի արդյունավետ կլինի, վստահ է ընկերությունը: Power Beaming պլատֆորմի առաջին աշխատանքային նախատիպերը կարող են ուղեծրում տեղակայվել 2030-ականների սկզբին: «Այժմ, երբ մենք առաջին անգամ հաջողությամբ փորձարկեցինք ապագա տիեզերական արևային էներգիայի համակարգի հիմնական տարրերը փոքր մասշտաբով, մենք պատրաստ ենք էլեկտրաէներգիայի փոխանցումը տեղափոխել հաջորդ մակարդակ», — ասել է Airbus հետազոտական ​​նախագծի ղեկավար Յոան Թյուը:
