Hightech.plus-ը գրում է, որ Sunstall ընկերությունը սկսել է ներդնել երկկողմանի ուղղահայաց արևային համակարգեր գյուղացիական տնտեսությունների, խաղողի այգիների և գյուղատնտեսական հողերի համար: Տեղադրումը ֆերմերներին թույլ է տալիս արդյունավետ օգտագործել հողը, խնայել ջուրը և վայելել մաքուր էներգիան: Վերջերս կատարված ուսումնասիրությունը ցույց է տվել, որ արևմուտք և արևելք նայող երկկողմանի արևային վահանակները միջին լայնություններում արտադրում են նույնքան հզորություն, որքան հարավային լայնություններում գտնվող վահանակները:

Sunzaun վահանակներն արդեն տեղադրվել են Somerset գինու գործարանում: Համակարգը բաղկացած է 23 կՎտ ընդհանուր հզորությամբ 43 ուղղահայաց երկկողմանի մոդուլներից, որոնք միացված են միկրոինվերտերին և երկու մարտկոցին։ Sunzaun-ը անցնում է խաղողիայգու լեռնոտ տեղանքով և ավելի քան 60 մետր բարձրության փոփոխություններով: Այն առավոտյան և կեսօրին ֆերմային էլեկտրաէներգիա է մատակարարում: Ի հավելումն ստվերի, այդ ուղղահայաց վահանակների տեղադրումը ֆերմերին թույլ է տալիս ստանալ նույն բերքը ինչպես նախկինում: Sunzaun վահանակները չեն կրճատել վազերի շուրջ ազատ տարածությունը: Այսպիսով, վերականգնվող էներգիայի արտադրությունը առանց տնկման տարածքի կրճատման, զգալիորեն բարձրացնում է հողօգտագործման արդյունավետությունը։
Ուղղահայաց արևային համակարգերը կարող են օգտագործվել նաև որպես քաղաքային ենթակառուցվածք՝ մայրուղիների երկայնքով, երկաթուղու կողքին, որպես ցանկապատեր բնակելի կամ հասարակական վայրերում:
