«Մենք ենք մեր սարերը» գործակալության համահիմնադիր, Արցախի նախկին պետնախարար Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.

Ադրբեջանի նախագահի այսօրվա հայտարարությունների հետ կապված իմ մեկնաբանությունը BusinessFM-ին:
 
Կարծում էի, որ պարոն Ալիևը լավ խորհրդականներ ունի, բայց, ինչպես երևում է այս հայտարարություններից, նրանք անպիտան են։ Խորհուրդ կտայի աշխատանքից ազատել նրանց, որովհետև որքան շատ է հնչում այս հռետորաբանությունը, որքան ավելի կոշտ ու դաժան է այն դառնում, այնքան մեծանում է հավանականությունը, որ վաղ թե ուշ պարոն Ալիևը ստիպված է լինելու կանգնել Հաագայի միջազգային դատարանի առաջ:
 
Ես դժվարանում եմ պատկերացնել, թե ինչ միջոցներով է ադրբեջանական պետությունը 120 հազար հայերին կարողանալու վտարել իրենց հայրենիքից: Ամեն դեպքում, դա կլինի մարդկության դեմ հանցագործություն: Եվ որքան մեծանում է ուժի սպառնալիքի լեզվով ճնշումն արցախցիների վրա, այնքան ավելի են նրանք համախմբվում և կողք կողքի կանգնում:
 
Այս իմաստով սա ճանապարհ է, որը ոչ մի տեղ չի տանում։ Ես ասել եմ և շարունակում եմ կրկնել, որ միակ ճանապարհը նորմալ բանակցություններն են, որտեղ Ադրբեջանը պետք է ճանաչի մյուս կողմին՝ Արցախի Հանրապետությունը, Արցախի ընտրված առաջնորդներին, և միջազգային հարթակում միջազգային ներկայացուցիչների մասնակցությամբ նորմալ բանակցություններ վարի՝ գիտակցելով, որ հակառակ պարագայում սա ճանապարհ է, որն իրեն ոչ մի տեղ չի տանելու։
