Դավիթ Խաժակյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է. 

Երևանի ավագանու որոշումը՝ «Ազգային արժանապատվության ասպետներին» նվիրված աղբյուր-հուշակոթող տեղադրելու վերաբերյալ միանգամայն սպասված քայլ էր և քաղաքական իմաստով՝ համարձակ։ «Նեմեսիս» օպերացիայի մեկնարկից անցել է ավելի քան 100 տարի, որոնցից շուրջ 30-ը Հայաստանի անկախության պայմաններում և որպես ավագանու անդամ հավատացնում եմ Ձեզ, որ Երևանի ավագանին այս որոշումը միաձայն ընդունել է՝ գնահատելով հնարավոր քաղաքական ռիսկերը։

Դրական եմ համարում նաև ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանի հայտարարությունը Անկարայում, որ հուշարձանը ուղղված չէ Թուրքիայի հանրապետության դեմ, առավել ևս չի խոչընդոտում հայ-թուրքական երկխոսությանը։

«Նեմեսիս» օպերացիան ուղղված էր Օսմանյան կայսրության այն գործիչների դեմ, ովքեր կազմակերպել էին Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը և տարիներ անց Կոստանդնուպոլսում հաստատված զինվորական արտակարգ դատարանի կողմից դատապարտվել մահապատժի։

Ըստ էության հուշարձանը հայ ժողովրդի հանդեպ պատասխանատվության պատգամ է և հատկանշական է, որ այդպես էլ կոչվում ՝ «արժանապատվության» ասպետներին և ոչ թե «վրեժի» կամ «հատուցման»։ Մեր գերխնդիրը այս տարածաշրջանում և այսպիսի հարևանության պայմաններում Հայաստանի պետականության ամրապնդումն է և հարատևումը:
