Բրիտանական իշխանությունները որոշել են 4,3 միլիոն ֆունտ հատկացնել արևային էներգիան դեպի երկիր տիեզերքից փոխանցելու տեխնոլոգիայի զարգացման նախնական փուլին։

Տիեզերական էլեկտրակայանի կառուցման մեկնարկի մասին հայտարարել է Միացյալ Թագավորության էներգետիկայի և ածխաջրային չեզոքության նախարարությունը։  «Մենք ահռելի քայլ ենք անում առաջ՝ աջակցելով այլընտրանքային տեխնոլոգիաների մշակմանը»,- հայտարարել է նախարար Գրանտ Շեպսը։

Ըստ փաստաթղթի՝ իշխանությունները մտադիր են ֆինանասավորել 8 նախագծեր, որոնք տիեզերական նորարարության և արևային էներգետիկայի ոլորտում ճանաչվել են լավագույնը պետական մրցույթներում։ Խոսքը մասնավորապես Քեմբրիջի համալսարանի գերթեթև արևային վահանակների ստեղծման նախագիծն է, ըստ որի այդ արևային վահանակները դրվելու են արբայակների վրա և աշխատելու են բարձր տիեզերական ռադիացիայի պայմանններում, ինչպես նաև Լոնդոնի Մարիա թագուհի համալսարանի նախագիծը տիեզերքում հավաքված էլեկտրականության անլար փոխանցման վերաբերյալ։

Ըստ նախարարության հավակնոտ ծրագրի՝ նախատեսվում է մինչև 2050 թվականը հասնել տիեզերքում տարեկան մինչև 10 գեգավատ էլեկտրաէներգիայի գեներացման, ինչը թույլ կտա բավարարել Մեծ Բրիտանիայի էներգետիկ կարիքների քառորդ մասը։

Այն, որ աշխարհը այլևս գնում է դեպի նման տեխնոլոգիաների, չափազանց ուշագրավ է։ Օրեր առաջ Կալիֆորնիայի տեխնոլոգիական համալսարանը առաջին հաջողություններն էր գրանցել, իսկ ճապոնացիներն ու առաջատար այլ երկրներ զգալի քայլեր և ներդրումներ են կատարում այս ուղղությամբ։

Հայաստանը դեռևս հեռու է նման տեխնոլոգիաների մասին մտածելուց։ Մեր երկրում ընդամենը արևային վահանակների արտադրության մեկ ընկերություն կա՝ «Սոլարոնը», էլ ու՞ր մնաց մտածել տիեզերքը նվաճելու մասին։
