Արևային էներգիայի աղբյուրների զարգացման հարցում Միացյալ նահանգները լրջորեն մրցակցում են նույնիսկ Եվրոպայի իր դաշնակիցների հետ՝ փորձելով իր կողմը գրավել սարքավորումների խոշոր արտադրողներին և նրանց արտադրությունը Եվրոպայից տեղափոխել Միացյալ նահանգներ։

Եվրոպայում արևային մարտկոցների միակ խոշոր արտադրողը՝ շվեյցարական «Մեյեռ բուրգեր» ընկերությունը, դիտարկում է իր նախագծերը Գերմանիայում չեղարկելու և արտադրությունը Միացյալ նահանգներ տեղափոխելու համար։ Պատճառն ամերիկյան զգալի սուբսիդիաներն են։ Գերմանիայի ֆինանսների նախարար Քրիստիան Լինդներին ուղղված նամակում ընկերությունը նշում է, որ ցանկանում է Սաքսոնյան Անհալտ երկրամասից արտադրությունը տեղափոխել ԱՄՆ։ «Երբ գործը հասնում է նոր գործարանների բացմանն ու արևային վահանակների վաճառքին ԱՄՆ-ում մեր առջև կարմիր գորգ են փռում»,- ասված է նամակում։ Սեփական արտադրությունը զարգացնելու հարցում, թե՛ եվրոպական երկրները և թե՛ ԱՄՆ-ն գործադրում են բոլոր հնարավոր ջանքերը, որպեսզի կարողանան թուլացնել կախվածությունը չինական ներմուծումից։ Ըստ էության, արևային էներգետիկան լրջագույն քաղաքական նախագիծ է, և հատկապես Ուկրաինան ռուսական ներխուժումից ու ռուսական արդյունահանվող վառելիքից կախվածությունը թուլացնելուց հետո, Արևմուտքն ընկել է չինական կախվածության մեջ, ինչը լրացուցիչ քաղաքական խնդիրներ է հարուցելու այդ երկրների համար։

ԱՄՆ-ում վերջին 1.5 տարում վարչակազմը լուրջ աշխատանք է իրականացնում այդ կախվածությունը թուլացնելու առումով։ Բայդենի վարչակազմը ոչ միայն լուրջ սուբսիդիաներ է վճարում, այլ նաև փորձում է իր մոտ արևային վահանակների և սարքավորումների արտադրություն հիմնել։

Նշենք, որ Հայաստանում կա արևային վահանակներ արտադրող մեկ ընկերություն՝ «Սոլարոնը»։
