Ռումինիայի մայրաքաղաք Բուխարեստում անցկացվող ծանրամարտի Եվրոպայի մինչեւ 23 տարեկանների առաջնությունում Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչ Լիանա Գյուրջյանը (87 կգ) նվաճել է երկամարտի ոսկե մեդալը 221 կգ (96+125) արդյունքով։ Նա առաջինն է եղել նաեւ պոկում եւ հրում վարժություններում։

Պետրոս Պետրոսյանը (109 կգ) նվաճել է երկամարտի արծաթե մեդալը 370 կգ (163+207) արդյունքով։ Պոկում եւ հրում վարժություններում նա եւս դարձել է արծաթե մեդալակիր։

Հայաստանի թիմն այս առաջնությունում արդեն նվաճել է 5 ոսկե, 5 արծաթե եւ 6 բրոնզե մեդալ: Երկամարտի ոսկե մեդալակիր են դարձել նաեւ 61 կգ քաշային Գառնիկ Չոլակյանը 255 կգ (140+255) արդյունքով, 81 կգ քաշային Ռաֆիկ Հարությունյանը (330 կգ, 150+180), 89 կգ քաշային Սուրեն Գրիգորյանը (341կգ, 150+191) եւ 102 կգ քաշային Գարիկ Կարապետյանը (386 կգ, 118+205)։ Մինչեւ 20 տարեկանների պայքարում երկամարտի արծաթե մեդալակիրներ են  դարձել 67 կգ քաշային Տիգրան Կարապետյանը (275 կգ, 123+152), մեծահասակների Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն Գոռ Սահակյանը( 311 կգ, 140+171) , Կարեն Մարգարյանը (323 կգ, 145+172) եւ Էմմա Պողոսյանը (211 կգ, 90+121):
