Հայտնի Porsche ավտոընկերության եզակի ավտոմեքենաներից մեկը լեգենդար Porsche 911 մոդելն է: Porsche ավտոարտադրողի խնդիրն էր ստեղծել մեքենա, որը սիրված կլիներ երկար տարիներ: Եվ դա տեղի է ունեցել, կարելի է ասել, պատահականորեն: 911 առաջին մոդելը թողարկվել է Porsche 356 հնացած տարբերակը փոխարինելու համար: Porsche 911- ի պատմությունը սկսվել է 1963 թվականից: Հենց այդ ժամանակ այն հանրությանն է ներկայացվել Ֆրանկֆուրտի ավտոսրահում՝ այն մշակող Ֆերդինանդ Պորշե կրտսերի կողմից: Դա նախնական արտադրության օրինակ է եղել: Շուկայական մասշտաբով այդ ավտոմեքենաները սկսել են արտադրվել մեկ տարի անց, որից հետո արդեն Փարիզում է ներկայացվել Porsche 911-ը:

Porsche- ի նորացված ավտոմեքենաների զարգացման պատմության մեջ նոր ժամանակաշրջան սկսվել է 1990 թվականից հետո, երբ հոսքագծից դուրս է եկել վերջին դասական մոդելը: Փոփոխված Porsche 911 Carrera S - ը աշխարհին է ներկայացվել 2011 թվականին: Քննադատների կարծիքով, մեքենան դարձել է ավելի «ֆոտոգենիկ»: Եվ դա, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, այն պատճառով, որ նոր մոդելում դիմապակու թեքության անկյունը կրճատվել է, գումարած՝ տանիքը երկարացվել է: Ընդհանուր առմամբ, Porsche- ի ներկայիս բոլոր մոդելները նորարարական են: Փոփոխությունները տեղի են ունեցել ինչպես արտաքին, այնպես էլ ներքին հարդարանքում:
