Օգոստոսի 16-ին Հայաստանի Հանրապետության պահանջով հրավիրված ՄԱԿ Անվտանգության խորհրդի հրատապ նիստի ընթացքում ևս մեկ անգամ արձանագրվեց, որ միջազգային գործընկերները, չնայած Ադրբեջանի կողմից իրականացվող կեղծ քարոզչությանը, հստակորեն գիտակցում են Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում ծանրագույն հումանիտար իրավիճակի փաստն ու դրա հասցեագրման կարևորությունը։ Այս՝ ՄԱԿ ԱԽ ձևաչափով արդեն երկրորդ քննարկման ժամանակ հնչած գնահատականներն ու Ադրբեջանին ուղղված հասցեական ուղերձներն ըստ էության լրացնում էին մինչ օրս տարբեր կառավարությունների, միջազգային կառույցների, իրավապաշտպան կազմակերպությունների կողմից արտահայտված հստակ դիրքորոշումները։

Հատկանշական էին անդամ պետությունների և ԵՄ ներկայացուցչի ելույթներն առ այն, որ Ադրբեջանը պարտավոր է վերացնել Լաչինի միջանցքի ապօրինի արգելափակումը՝ համաձայն 2020թ. նոյեմբերի 9-ի եռակողմ հայտարարության և ՄԱԿ-ի Արդարադատության միջազգային դատարանի փետրվարի 22-ի և հուլիսի 6-ի՝ իրավական պարտադիր ուժ ունեցող որոշումների։ Աներկբայորեն ընդգծվեց, որ արդեն ութ ամսից ավել շարունակվող շրջափակման հետևանքով ԼՂ բնակչության համար ստեղծված ծանր հումանիտար իրավիճակը պետք է վերացվի։

Ակնհայտ է, որ Ադրբեջանը շարունակում է խեղաթյուրել միջազգային հանրության կոչերը, կեղծ և իրականությանը չհամապատասխանող պատրվակներ փնտրել` չիրականացնելու իր պարտավորությունները և, երկարաձգելով հումանիտար ճգնաժամը, ներառյալ սովամահության միջոցով էթնիկ զտումների ենթարկել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի բնիկ ժողովրդին։ Ավելին, Ադրբեջանը փորձում է շահարկել միջազգային դերակատարների ցանկացած «հավասարակշիռ» մոտեցում՝ այն մեկնաբանելով որպես իր որդեգրած քաղաքականության շարունակման թողտվություն:

Ընդգծում ենք ԼՂ-ում հումանիտար ճգնաժամի վերացման ուղղությամբ առկա միջազգային ողջ գործիքակազմի օգտագործման և Լաչինի միջանցքով երկու ուղղություններով անխափան տեղաշարժի վերականգնման և ԼՂ միջազգային մարդասիրական կազմակերպությունների անարգել մուտքի ապահովման հրատապությունը:

ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը, բարձր գնահատելով միջազգային անվտանգությանը և խաղաղությանը նպաստելու իրենց մանդատին հավատարիմ ՄԱԿ Անվտանգության խորհրդի անդամ պետությունների սկզբունքային և արդար դիրքորոշումները, շարունակելու է աշխատանքները տարբեր հարթակներում, այդ թվում՝ ՄԱԿ Անվտանգության խորհրդում, հետևողական քայլերի գործադրմամբ Լաչինի միջանցքի ապաշրջափակման և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում հումանիտար ճգնաժամի հաղթահարման ուղղությամբ:
