Հայկական բարձրադիր և աշնան կեսերից արդեն ճերմակ հագնող Արագած լեռան վրա գտնվող Ապարան քաղաքը ձմռանը վերածվում է կախարդական վայրի՝ Սուրբ Ծննդյան շողշողացող լույսերի շնորհիվ։ Այս վառ լույսերը սովորական փողոցները վերածում են իսկական հեքիաթի՝ քաղաքին հաղորդելով ոչ երկրային մթնոլորտ։ Ձմռան սկզբին ապարանցիները սկսում են իրենց տներն ու փողոցները զարդարել վառ լույսերով, որոնք ձգվում են քաղաքի մի ծայրից մյուս ծայրը, ու քաղաք մտնողների սիրտը լցնում մանկական տաք ու չկրկնվող հիշողություններով։ Արևի մայր մտնելուն պես քաղաքը վերածվում է լուսավոր պատկերի, որտեղ յուրաքանչյուր փողոց և տուն զարդարված է յուրովի։ Այս հոյակապ լուսային շոուն գրավում է ոչ միայն տեղի բնակիչներին, այլև զբոսաշրջիկներին աշխարհի տարբեր ծայրերից:

Քաղաքի գլխավոր հրապարակում կանգնած է հսկայական տոնածառ՝ զարդարված շողշողացող խաղալիքներով և տարբեր գույների շղթաներով։ Սուրբ Ծննդյան մոգության այս խորհրդանիշը դառնում է քաղաքի բոլոր բնակիչների և հյուրերի կենտրոնական կետը: Ձմռանը Ապարանի ոչ երկրային գեղեցկությունը ոչ միայն բարձրացնում է տրամադրությունը, այլև քաղաքում ստեղծում է յուրահատուկ մթնոլորտ։ Տեղական խանութները, ժամանցի վայրերը, կրթական կենտրոնները ու սրճարանները նույնպես հարմարվում են տոնական մթնոլորտին։ Ապարանյան ամանորյա այս ավանդույթը ոչ միայն ուրախություն և բերկրանք է պատճառում քաղաքաբնակներին, այլև առիթ է դառնում մաքուր օդում ընտանեկան զբոսանքների և ընկերների հետ հանդիպումների համար։

Իսկ ո՞ւմ են պարտական ապարանցիները իրենց տոնական քաղաքի, տրամադրության և կորսված մանկության վերադարձի համար։ Կարծում եմ երկար մտածելու կարիք չկա` քաղաքապետին` Կարեն Եղիազարյանին, ով արդեն երկար ժամանակ է , որ ոչինչ չի խնայում իր քաղաքը գեղեցիկ և հրապուրիչ դարձնելու ու իր ժողովրդի դեմքին ժպիտ նկարելու համար։
