Այս տարի Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին Սուրբ Սարգիս զորավարի հիշատակության օրը կտոնի հունվարի 27-ին։

Սուրբ Սարգիսը հայ ժողովրդի ամենասիրված սրբերից է: Այս տոնը Հայաստանում ընդունված է նշել ոչ միայն եկեղեցական ծեսով, աղոթքով, այլև ժողովրդական սովորույթներով, որը մեզանում նվիրական ավանդություն է:

Գարեգին Երկրորդ հայրապետի տնօրինությամբ Ս․ Սարգիս զորավարի տոնը հռչակված է Երիտասարդների օրհնության օր:

Սուրբ Սարգիս զորավարը երիտասարդների արագահաս բարեխոսն է: Նրա միջնորդությամբ հրաշքներ են տեղի ունենում: Այդ օրը երիտասարդներն դիմում են սրբին, որ իրենց աղոթքները հասցնի առ Աստված:
