Ռուսաստանը վերջին զգուշացումներն է անում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին, նշելով, որ Հայաստանի ներկայիս քաղաքական կուրսի շարունակումը կարող է ի վերջո անդառնալի վնաս հասցնել հայ-ռուսական դաշնակցային հարաբերություններին։ Ռուսաստանի ԱԳՆ մամուլի քարտուղար Մարիա Զախարովան երեկ ճեպազրույցում մեկնաբանել է վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հայտարարությունն այն մասին, որ Հայաստանը կարող է դուրս գալ ՀԱՊԿ-ից։ Ըստ Զախարովայի, Մոսկվային մտահոգում է Հավաքական անվտանգության պայմանագրի կազմակերպության հասցեին Հայաստանի ղեկավարության ուլտիմատիվ և վիրավորական հռետորաբանությունը։ 

«Մենք երբեք կասկածի տակ չենք դրել, չենք դնում և չենք դնելու ցանկացած պետության ինքնիշխան իրավունքը՝ որոշելու իր արտաքին քաղաքական կուրսը, ներառյալ՝ այս կամ այն միջազգային, տարածաշրջանային կառույցների աշխատանքին մասնակցության աստիճանը՝ ելնելով իր ազգային շահերից և ստանձնած պարտավորություններից։ Դա լիովին վերաբերում է նաև ՀԱՊԿ-ին։ Միաժամանակ մեզ չի կարող չանհանգստացնել հակաարդյունավետ և ուլտիմատիվ, իսկ երբեմն էլ վիրավորական հռետորաբանությունը, որն այսօր գերիշխում է Կազմակերպության վերաբերյալ Հայաստանի ղեկավարության արտահայտություններում ու տառացիորեն սերմանվում է հայ հասարակության մեջ»,- հայտարարել է Զախարովան։

Խոսելով Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքական կուրսի հնարավոր փոփոխության մասին՝ Զախարովան նշել է, որ «Երևանի ներկայիս քաղաքական կուրսի շարունակումը կարող է ի վերջո անդառնալի վնաս հասցնել մեր դաշնակցային հարաբերություններին, լուրջ ռիսկեր ստեղծել Հանրապետության ինքնիշխանության համար, վերջնականապես ոչնչացնել երկրի անվտանգության ապահովման գործուն մեխանիզմները, ազդել նրա առաջանցիկ սոցիալ-տնտեսական զարգացման հեռանկարների վրա»,- ասել է Զախարովան։ Իսկ «Զվարթնոց» միջազգային օդանավակայանից ռուս սահմանապահների դուրսբերման վերաբերյալ հայկական կողմի պահանջը գնահատել է որպես պաշտոնական Երևանի ոչ բարեկամական քայլերի մի ամբողջ շարքի ֆոնին։ «Հազիվ թե նման նախաձեռնությունը բխում է Հայաստանի ու նրա քաղաքացիների անվտանգության շահերից, հատկապես հաշվի առնելով այն խնդիրները, որոնք ուս-ուսի տված երկար տարիներ արդյունավետ կերպով մշակել են ռուս և հայ սահմանապահները»,- ասել է Զախարովան։ 

Փաստացի, ռուսական կողմն արդեն նյարդային շարժումներ է անում՝ փորձելով ՀՀ գործող վարչախմբին բացատրել իր քաղաքականության վտանգավորությունը։ Մինչդեռ հստակ է՝ Փաշինյանն այդ հարցում այլևս արգելակներ չունի, արևմտյան հովանավորների ազդեցությամբ պատրաստ է Հայաստանն ամբողջությամբ հանել ՌԴ ազդեցության շրջանակներից։
