Հնարավոր է, որ էվոլուցիայի ընթացքում մարդու հիշողության հնարավորությունները գնան զարգացման և ապագայում էլ մեր ժառանգները իրենց հիշողության մեջ կարողանան պահել գրքերի տեքստերը, սակայն այսօր նման մարդիկ շատ քիչ են հանդիպում:
Մինչև 25 տարեկան հիշողությունը զարգանում է աճման կարգով: Հետո գալիս է հաստատուն փուլը, իսկ 50-ից հետո այն սկսում է թուլանալ: Հասուն մարդը կարող է հիշել 20 000 մինչև 100 000 բառ: Էցվոլուցիայի ընթացքում մարդու հիշելու կարողությունը միայն մեծանում է: Բայց այս պահին, այդ ֆենոմենը հազվադեպ է հանդիպում: Orer.am-ը ներկայացնում է աշխարհի ամենալավ հիշողություն ունեցող մարդկանց:
10-րդ հորիզոնական. Հարավաֆրիկացի քաղաքական գործիչ Յան Քրիստիան Սմետսը վաղ հասակում անգիր էր արել 5000 գիրք:
9-րդ հորիզոնական. Ճապոնացի Հիդեակի Տոմոերին հիշողությամբ վերարտադրեց «պի» թվի` ստորակետից հետո ընթացող 40 000 նիշերը:
8-րդ հորիզոնական. 1967թ-ի հոկտեմբերի 14-ին Անկարայում ծնված Մեհմեդ Ալի Հալիսին տասնյակ ակադեմիկոսների ներկայությամբ արտասանել է Ղուրանի 6666 ստեղծագործություններ՝ ընդամենը 6 ժամում:
7-րդ հորիզոնական. Վալերի Լավրինենկոն ունի թվերը հիշելու եզակի ունակություն, թույլ է տալիս առավելագույնը մի քանի սխալ: 100 նիշը հիշում է 2,5 րոպեում, 200-ը՝ 3 րոպեում: Միևնույն ժամանակ, Նա վերարտադրում էր թվերը ցանկացած հերթականությամբ:
6-րդ հորիզոնական. 5-րդ հորիզոնական. Սամվել Ղարիբյան հիշում էր ավելի քան 1000 բառ՝ աշխարհի 10 տարբեր լեզուների թարգմանությամբ:
4-րդ հորիզոնական. Ամերիկացի Բարբառա Մուրը հիշողությամբ դաշնամուրով նվագեց 1852 երգ: Նրա համերգը տևեց 1988թ.-ի հոկտեմբերի 25-ից մինչև նոյեմբերի 13-ը:
3-դ հորիզոնական. 1996թ-ի հունիսի 24-ին Կանադայում՝ Գինեսի աշխարհի ռեկորդների թանգարանում, ամերիկացի Դեյվ Ֆէրրոուն հիշեց 52 պատահականորեն դասավորված խաղաքարտերի հաջորդականությունը՝ թույլ տալով ընդամենը 6 սխալ:
2-րդ հորիզոնական. Լեոպոլդ Հերդը «Գուրնիկ» ֆուտբոլային ակումբի տոմսեր վաճառողն էր, ով հիշում էր ոչ միայն ակումբի խաղերի մանրամասների մասին բոլոր արդյունքները, այլ նաև ընդհանուր եկամուտների գումարը 12 տարվա ընթացքում անցկացված յուրաքանչյուր խաղերից:
1-ին հորիզոնական. Անգլիացի Դոմինիկ Օ՛Բրայանը օժտված է եզակի հիշողություն ունենալու հատկությամբ: 1994թ-ի հիշողության համաշխարային մրցության հաղթողը կարող է 1 ժամվա ընթացքում սովորել մոտ 300 այլ լեզվով բառ, իսկ մի քանի օր հետո՝ խոսել նոր լեզվով: Նրան արգելված է այցելել աշխարհում գործող ցանկացած խաղատուն: Նա հիշում է ինչ խաղաթղթեր են կապոցում մնացել, որոնք դեռ չեն բաժանվել, բարձրացնում է խաղադրույքը և հաղթում է ամբողջ գումարը, քանի որ ունի յուրօրինակ հիշողություն: Բացի այդ Դոմինիկը հաղթող է ճանաչվել 15 րոպեում 152 չինարեն բառեր հիշելու համար:
