Եգիպտոսի, Կատարի և ԱՄՆ-ի ղեկավարներն Իսրայելին և պաղեստինյան ՀԱՄԱՍ շարժմանը կոչ են արել օգոստոսի 15-ին Դոհայում կամ Կահիրեում վերսկսել Գազայի հատվածում հրադադարի շուրջ բանակցությունները։ Այս մասին ասված է Կատարի էմիր շեյխ Թամիմ բեն Համադ Ալ Թանիի, Եգիպտոսի նախագահ Աբդել Ֆաթահ աս Սիսիի և ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենի համատեղ հայտարարության մեջ։

«Մենք երկու կողմերին կոչ ենք անում օգոստոսի 15-ին վերսկսել հրատապ բանակցությունները Դոհայում կամ Կահիրեում, որպեսզի լրացվեն մնացած բացերը և համաձայնագրի իրականացումը սկսվի առանց որևէ հետաձգման», - ասվում է հայտարարության մեջ:

Միջնորդները հայտարարել են Գազայում հրադադարի և իսրայելցի պատանդների ազատ արձակման վերաբերյալ համաձայնագրի վերջնական նախագիծ ներկայացնելու պատրաստակամության մասին։ Փաստաթուղթը հիմնված է Բայդենի կողմից առաջ քաշված և ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդի 2735 բանաձևով աջակցվող սկզբունքների վրա։

«Մենք երեքս և մեր թիմերը մի քանի ամիս ջանասիրաբար աշխատել ենք շրջանակային համաձայնության հասնելու համար, որը ներկայումս բանակցությունների փուլում է և միայն անհրաժեշտ է վերջնական տեսքի բերել իրականացման մանրամասները:Որպես միջնորդներ՝ մենք պատրաստ ենք, անհրաժեշտության դեպքում, ներկայացնել վերջնական առաջարկ՝ իրականացման հետ կապված առկա խնդիրները լուծելու այնպես, որ բավարարի բոլոր կողմերի ակնկալիքները»,- ընդգծել են երեք երկրների ղեկավարները։

Մայիսի 31-ին Բայդենը հայտարարել էր Գազայի հատվածում խաղաղ կարգավորման վերաբերյալ նոր համաձայնագրի նախագծի պայմանները, որը բաղկացած է երեք փուլից։ Առաջինը նախատեսված է վեց շաբաթվա համար և ներառում է կրակի ամբողջական դադարեցում, իսրայելական զորքերի դուրսբերում բնակեցված շրջաններից, պատանդների ազատում ՀԱՄԱՍ շարժման կողմից՝ իսրայելական բանտերից հարյուրավոր պաղեստինցի բանտարկյալների ազատ արձակման դիմաց: Այս ընթացքում կողմերը պետք է սկսեն բանակցությունները, և հրադադարը կգործի մինչև փոխըմբռնման հասնելը։ Երկրորդ փուլը ներառում է բոլոր պատանդների, այդ թվում՝ զինվորականների ազատ արձակումը։ Երրորդ փուլը Գազայի հատվածի վերականգնումն է և զոհված իսրայելցիների աճյունների փոխանցումը հարազատներին։
