ԱՄՆ-ը պատժամիջոցներ է կիրառել RT-ի և Մարգարիտա Սիմոնյանի նկատմամբ

Չորեքշաբթի ԱՄՆ ֆինանսների նախարարությունը հայտարարել է  RT հեռուստաալիքը և գլխավոր խմբագիր Մարգարիտա Սիմոնյանին պատժամիջոցների ցանկում ներառելու որոշման մասին։ Հայտարարության մեջ նշվել է, որ ընդհանուր առմամբ պատժամիջոցներ են սահմանվում 10 ֆիզիկական ու երկու իրավաբանական անձանց նկատմամբ, և դրանք կիրառվելու են ի պատասխան «2024 թվականին ԱՄՆ նախագահի ընտրության վրա ազդելու Մոսկվայի փորձերի»։

Գերատեսչությունը պարզաբանել է, որ նախատեսում են պատժամիջոցների ցանկում հայտնված անձանց՝ ԱՄՆ-ում ունեցած գույքի կամ Միացյալ Նահանգների քաղաքացիների հսկողության տակ գտնվող գույքի արգելափակում։ Բացի դրանից՝ արգելված են նրանց հետ բոլոր ֆինանսական գործարքները Միացյալ Նահանգներում կամ ԱՄՆ-ի տարածքի միջոցով:

Russia Today մեդիա խմբի նկատմամբ ընդունված սահմանափակումները վերաբերում են նաև նրա հինգ դուստր ձեռնարկությանը։ Բացի RT-ից, դրանց թվում են РИА Новости-ն, ТВ-Новости-ն, Ruptly-ն և Sputnik-ը: ԱՄՆ ֆինանսների նախարարությունը պատժամիջոցներ է սահմանել նաև Dialog ոչ առևտրային կազմակերպության և դրա առաջնորդ Վլադիմիր Տաբակի նկատմամբ՝ Ուկրաինայի պատերազմի մասին կեղծ տեղեկություններ տարածելու լայնածավալ արշավների համար։

Ըստ ԱՄՆ ֆինանսների նախարարության տվյալների՝ ռուսական պետական ​​կառույցները  արհեստական ​​բանականության տեխնոլոգիաներն ու ապատեղեկատվությունն օգտագործում են՝ «խաթարելու ԱՄՆ-ում ընտրական գործընթացների նկատմամբ վստահությունն և ազդելու դրանց արդյունքների վրա»։
