Հայաստանի վարչապետի պաշտոնը զբաղեցնող Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը երեկ խորհրդարանում՝ կառավարության հետ հարցուպատասխանին ակամայից, անուղղակի իր դժգոհությունն է հայտնել Արևմուտքից, դեպի ուր նա սլանում էր վերջին ամիսներին։ Խոսելով երաշխավորի ինստիտուտի մասին՝ Փաշինյանն ասել է. «Աշխարհի՝ իմ այսօրվա իմացությամբ ասում եմ, որ դրանից ավելի ֆեյք թեմա չկա: Մեր անվտանգության երաշխավորը կամ մենք ենք, կամ չկա երաշխավոր: Բոլոր նրանց համար, ում անունը մենք ուզում ենք դնել անվտանգության երաշխավոր, մենք մանրադրամ ենք: Մեր հարցերը մենք պետք է լուծենք»:

Կարծես թե, Փաշինյանի այս հայտարարությունը բխում է ինքնիշխանության ու անկախության մասին նրա թեզերից, սակայն իրականում դժգոհություն է այն երկրներից, որոնք փորձում են դիրքավորվել իբր Հարավային Կովկասում անվտանգության երաշխավորներ։ Հայաստանը, որ վերջին երկու տարում հասցրել է փչացնել հարաբերությունները Ռուսաստանի հետ, արտաքին քաղաքական շրջադարձը պատճառաբանում էր անվտանգային միջավայրը դիվերսիֆիկացնելու ձգտումներով, իսկ այսօր Փաշինյանի բերանով է խոստովանում, որ որևէ երաշխիք տվող չկա, իսկ Հայաստանը մեն-մենակ է մնացել Թուրքիայի ու Ադրբեջանի հետ։

Դեպի Ռուսաստան վերադարձը, եթե ոչ անկարելի, ապա խիստ բարդ է, առնվազն Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի իշխանության պարագայում։ Հարաբերությունները հնարավոր է կարգավորել միայն նոր իշխանություն ունենալու դեպքում, իսկ ՔՊ-ական վարչախումբը որևէ կերպ չի ցանկանում ձեռքից բաց թողնել իշխանության ղեկը։ Ու այսպես, որքան երկարում է վարչախմբի գոյությունը, այնքան վտանգվում է Հայաստանը։
